14 березня в Україні відбувається вшанування добровольців – людей, які не були військовими за професією, але в критичний для держави час без повісток чи примусу добровільно «поставили на паузу» своє попереднє життя й узяли до рук зброю, щоб захистити країну. Завжди, у найважчі часи нашої історії, знаходилися відважні, які добровільно брали зброю до рук і ставали на захист своєї Батьківщини.
Сьогодні добровольцем став увесь Український народ: ті, хто прийшов до центрів комплектування та поповнив ряди Збройних Сил України, ті, хто став до лав територіальної оборони, ті, хто всіляко допомагає захисникам і готовий стати до їхніх лав завтра. Наша готовність добровільно стати на захист України є вирішальною запорукою нашої Перемоги. Українські добровольці – це символ самопожертви та героїзму.
Студенти 1 групи 5 курсу стоматологічного факультету разом зі своїм куратором, асистентом кафедри терапевтичної стоматології Костиренком Олексієм прослухали міні-лекцію добровольця сил оборони країни на тему «Доброволець – символ нескореної Волі та відданості ідеї Незалежності». Лектор відзначив, що пам’ятна дата була встановлена Верховною Радою країни у 2017 році, щоб вшанувати мужність та героїзм захисників незалежності суверенітету й територіальної цілісності нашої держави.

On March 14, Ukraine honors volunteers - people who were not military by profession, but at a critical moment for the state, without summons or coercion, voluntarily "put their previous lives on hold" and took up arms to defend the country.
Always, in the most difficult times of our history, there were brave people who voluntarily took up arms and stood up for the defense of their Motherland.
Nowadays, the entire Ukrainian people have become volunteers: those who came to recruitment centers and joined the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine; those who joined the ranks of territorial defense; those who help the defenders in every possible way and are ready to join their ranks tomorrow.
Our willingness to voluntarily defend Ukraine is a decisive guarantee of our victory.
Ukrainian volunteers are a symbol of self-sacrifice and heroism.
Students of the 1st group of the 5th year of the Faculty of Dentistry together with their supervisor, Ph.D. Oleksiy Petrovych Kostyrenko, assistant of the department of therapeutic dentistry, listened to a mini-lecture of a volunteer of the country's defense forces on the topic "Volunteer - a symbol of indomitable Will and devotion to the idea of independence". The lecturer noted that the commemorative date was established by the Verkhovna Rada of the country in 2017 to honor the courage and heroism of the defenders of the independence, sovereignty and territorial integrity of our state.
