У світі нараховується понад 300 мільйонів людей з рідкісними (орфанними) захворюваннями. Сьогодні існує понад 6 000 рідкісних захворювань, 72% з них — генетичні. В Україні офіційно затверджено 302 рідкісні захворювання, серед них муковісцидоз, первинні імунодефіцити, хвороба Гоше, хвороба Помпе, тирозинемія, фенілкетонурія, мукополісахаридоз, легенева артеріальна гіпертензія, бульозний епідермоліз та інші. Рідкісним називають будь-яке захворювання, яке зачіпає незначну частину людей, рідше ніж один випадок на 2000.

Саме у цей день на кафедрі анатомії людини здобувачі вищої освіти 1 курсу 17 групи медичного факультету № 1 разом із Наталією Корчан підготували дуже цікаву та змістовну доповідь на дану тему. У виховному закладі також брали участь професор Володимир Гринь зі здобувачами вищої освіти 1 курсу 13 групи медичного факультету № 1.

February 29 is World rare disease day

There are more than 300 million people in the world with rare (orphan) diseases. Currently, there are more than 6,000 rare diseases, 72% of which are genetic. In Ukraine, 302 rare diseases have been officially approved, including cystic fibrosis, primary immunodeficiencies, Gaucher disease, Pompe disease, tyrosinemia, phenylketonuria, mucopolysaccharidosis, pulmonary arterial hypertension, epidermolysis bullosa, and others. A rare disease is any disease that affects a small proportion of people, less than one case per 2000.

On this day, at the Department of Human Anatomy, the 1-year students of the group 17 of the Medical Faculty No. 1 together with Nataliia Korchan prepared a very interesting and informative presentation on this topic. Professor Volodymyr Hryn and the 1-year students of the group 13 of the Medical Faculty No. 1 also took part in the event.
