Доцентка кафедри оториноларингології з офтальмологією Анна Пера-Васильченко відвідала 41-й Конгрес Європейської асоціації катарактальних та рефракційних хірургів (ESCRS VIENNA 2023) у Відні. Це одна з найбільших європейських конференцій, яка налічує понад 10тис. учасників. На конгресі проводилися презентаційні сесії, майстер-класи та відеопрезентації. Учасники конференції мали можливість відвідати виставкові холи, аби протестувати найсучасніше світове обладнання, розхідні матеріали та інструменти. Окремо відбулися секції з глаукоми, захворювання рогівки, рефраційної та катарактальної хірургії та з інших інновацій в офтальмології. На лекціях були обговорені актуальні питання лікування катаракти та глаукоми й презентовані нові можливості у діагностиці та лікуванні цих патологій. З поповненими знаннями та потужною мотивацією уасники конгресу повернулися додому де успішно застосовуватимуть усі новітні техніки у практичній діяльності задля здоров’я пацієнтів.

41st Congress of the European Association of Cataract and Refractive Surgeons in Vienna

Associate Professor Anna Pera-Vasylchenko, Department of Otorhinolaryngology and Ophthalmology, attended the 41st Congress of the European Association of Cataract and Refractive Surgeons (ESCRS VIENNA 2023) in Vienna. This is one of the largest European conferences, visited by over 10,000 participants. Sessions, master classes and video presentations were presented at the congress. The participants had the opportunity to visit the exhibition halls to test the world's state-of-the-art equipment, consumables and tools. Sections on glaucoma, corneal diseases, refractive and cataract surgery and other innovations in ophthalmology were held separately. During the the lectures, topical issues of cataract and glaucoma treatment were discussed and new possibilities in the diagnosis and treatment of these pathologies were presented. With increased knowledge and powerful motivation, the participants of the congress returned home, where they will successfully apply all the latest techniques in practical activities for the health of patients.
