В третій четвер листопада, за регламентом ЮНЕСКО, світова спільнота відзначає Міжнародний день філософії. Кафедра філософії та суспільних наук не порушила свої традиції та провела ряд заходів, серед яких: засідання СНГ та перегляд науково-фантастичного американського фільму Рідлі Скотта, про уявлення людини про світ та її місце в ньому, 5-денний марафон філософських практик в Telegram-каналі, конкурс сенканів серед студентів 7 групи медичного факультету №1, бінарне заняття за участю адвоката системи безоплатної правової допомоги – Лисенко Світлани Сергіївни для здобувачів 12 та 5(Н) груп стоматологічного факультету, яке було спрямоване на подолання правового нігілізму серед молоді, екскурсія 3 групи стоматологічного факультету до Літературно-меморіального музею Панаса Мирного, видатного українського прозаїка, драматурга та громадського діяча. Обговорення на семінарі з ментального здоров’я професійного та індивідуального потенціалу особистості.
Учасники заходів відзначили, що філософія є науковою дисципліною, яка стимулює критичне і незалежне мислення, сприяє кращому розумінню навколишньої дійсності та сприяє утвердженню ідеалів толерантності й миру. Саме завдяки вивченню філософії свідомість здобувачів освіти виходить за межі вузькопрофесійної підготовки, відбувається орієнтація на загальнолюдські цінності, що окреслено ЮНЕСКО та забезпечується при викладанні дисципліни викладачами кафедри.
Series of Educational, Scientific and Cultural Events for World Philosophy Day 2023!
On the third Thursday of November, according to UNESCO regulations, the global community observes the International Day of Philosophy. The Department of Philosophy and Social Sciences adhered to its traditions and organized a series of events, including the SSG meeting and a screening of the science fiction American film by Ridley Scott. The film explored human perceptions of the world and their place in it. Additionally, there was a 5-day marathon of philosophical practices on the social media platform "Telegram," a cinquain competition among students from Group 7, the Faculty of Medicine No.1, and a binary session featuring the participation of a pro bono legal aid system lawyer, Svitlana Serhiivna Lysenko, aimed at overcoming legal nihilism among students of Groups 12 and 5 (N), Faculty of Dentistry.
A tour was organized for the dental students of Group 3 to the Literary and Memorial Museum of Panas Myrnyi, a prominent Ukrainian prose writer, playwright and public man. The events also included a seminar on mental health discussing the professional and individual potential of personality.
Participants in these events emphasized that philosophy is a scientific discipline that stimulates critical and independent thinking, contributes to a better understanding of the surrounding reality and promotes the affirmation of ideals of tolerance and peace. Through the study of philosophy, the awareness of students goes beyond narrow professional training, aligning with universal values outlined by UNESCO and ensured by the department's instructors during the course.
