Здобувачі вищої освіти 3-ого курсу стоматологічного факультету опановують навчальну практику з профілактики стоматологічних захворювань (клінічне навчання). Під наглядом викладачів кафедри студенти проводять огляд дитини та розбір знімків, на яких зображені різні вікові періоди пацієнта, що дає можливість здобувачам зрозуміти особливості розвитку зубощелепної системи у період змінного прикусу.
Обстеження пацієнта виконували на базі Комунального підприємства «Міська дитяча клінічна стоматологічна поліклініка Полтавської міської ради з дотриманням основних положень «Правил етичних принципів проведення наукових медичних досліджень за участю людини», затверджених Гельсінською декларацією (1964 – 2013 рр.), ICH GCP (1996 р.), Директиви ЄЕС від 24.11.1986 №609, наказів МОЗ України від 23.09.2009 №690, від 14.12.2009 №944 і від 03.08.2012 № 616 під керівництвом доцента закладу вищої освіти. Батьки пацієнта були проінформовані щодо мети, організації, методів обстеження і підписали інформовану згоду щодо участі дитини у ньому.
Hands-on clinical training in preventive dentistry: an engaging experience!
Third-year students of the Faculty of Dentistry are actively engaging in clinical training as part of their coursework in preventive dentistry. Under the supervision of faculty members, students conduct pediatric dental examinations and analyze radiographic images depicting different stages of a patient’s dental development. This approach helps them gain a deeper understanding of the growth and transformation of the dentoalveolar system during the mixed dentition period.
The patient examination took place at the Municipal Children's Clinical Dental Polyclinic of the Poltava City Council, following the ethical principles of human research established by The Declaration of Helsinki (1964–2013); ICH GCP (1996); EEC Directive No. 609 (24.11.1986); Orders of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine (No. 690 – 23.09.2009, No. 944 – 14.12.2009, No. 616 – 03.08.2012)
The study was conducted under the guidance of an associate professor, ensuring adherence to medical ethics and research standards. Parents were fully informed about the purpose, methods, and procedures of the examination and signed an informed consent form for their child's participation.
