8 листопада  у ЛОР-відділені КП «ПОКЛ ім. М.В. Скліфосовського» було проведене унікальне оперативне втручання.

До ЛОР-відділення поступив військовослужбовець, що потребував складного оперативного втручання. Завідувач кафедри оториноларингології з офтальмологією Михайло Безега провів ендоскопічне, ендоназальне видалення стороннього тіла (уламка снаряда) із задніх комірок решітчатого лабіринту, з проникненням у порожнину черепа.

За перебігом операції спостерігали лікарі ЛОР-відділення, лікарі-інтерни отоларингологи, слухачі циклу тематичного удосконалення «Сучасні ендоскопічні технології в отоларингології», здобувачі вищої освіти. Хірург, який проводив операцію, надавав коментарі та пояснення щодо складних моментів під час оперативного втручання. Хірургічне втручання завершилось успішно, із проведенням пластики перфорації основи черепа та ліквідації ліквореї.

Assistance to Serviceman: Ongoing Successes of Poltava's Skilled Medical Professionals

On November 8, a unique surgical intervention was performed in the ENT Unit at M.V. Sklifosovsky Poltava City Clinical Hospital.

A serviceman was admitted to the ENT Unit, requiring a complex surgical procedure. The Head of the Department of Otorhinolaryngology with Ophthalmology, Mykhailo Bezeha, conducted an endoscopic, endonasal removal of a foreign body (fragment of a projectile) from the posterior ethmoidal cells with penetration into the cranial cavity.

The course of the operation was observed by the physicians of the ENT Unit, ENT interns, trainees of the thematic advanced training program "Advanced Endoscopic Technologies in Otorhinolaryngology," and higher education students. The surgeon performing the operation provided comments and explanations regarding the complex moments during the surgical intervention. The surgical procedure concluded successfully, including the plastic repair of the cranial base perforation and the elimination of cerebrospinal fluid leakage.
