24 лютого 2024 року – друга річниця початку повномасштабного вторгнення росії на територію нашої країни. Україна мужньо протистоїть, бореться, нищить ворога, тримає удар у найстрашнішій битві на виживання. Холодні потворні руки війни вдерлися у кожну сферу нашого життя і випробовують на міць і стійкість усю державу. У своєму впертому протистоянні з росією Україна показала, що готова боротися до останнього, аби кожен українець міг вільно жити на своїй землі. Безмежно вдячні кожному, хто на полі бою відстоює не тільки нашу свободу, незалежність й територіальну цілісність України, а й універсальні світові цінності, демократичний порядок!
Фонд наукового абонемента бібліотеки ПДМУ поповнився особливою книгою у лімітованому тиражі під назвою «Навіть у темні часи є світло». У ній зібрано 100 надихаючих реальних історій українців, які роблять усе можливе, а інколи й неможливе, заради Перемоги України. Ці історії з яскравими ілюстраціями про те, як школяр допоміг зупинити російську колону військової техніки, як художниця рятує тварин та допомагає евакуювати їх, як 78-річний чоловік долучився до волонтерства в найскрутніший для країни час, тощо. Запрошуємо! І – Тримаймося, все буде Україна!
Two years of strength and resilience
February 24, 2024 marks the second anniversary of russia's full-scale invasion of our country. Ukraine has been courageously resisting, fighting, destroying the enemy, and holding its own in the most terrible battle for survival. The cold, ugly hands of war have invaded every sphere of our lives and are testing the strength and resilience of the entire country. In its stubborn confrontation with russia, Ukraine has shown that it is ready to fight to the last so that every Ukrainian can live freely on their land. We are immensely grateful to everyone who defends not only our freedom, independence and territorial integrity of Ukraine on the battlefield, but also universal world values and the democratic order!
The scientific subscription fund of the PSMU library has been replenished with a special book in a limited edition called "Even in Dark Times There is Light". It contains 100 inspiring real-life stories of Ukrainians who do everything possible, and sometimes impossible, for the sake of Ukraine's victory. These stories with vivid illustrations show how a schoolboy helped to stop a russian convoy of military equipment, how an artist rescues animals and helps to evacuate them, how a 78-year-old man joined volunteering in the most difficult time for the country, and more.
