Заповітні трави життя… Так говорять люди про лікарські рослини. У цих словах і захоплення чудовими властивостями зелених цілителів, і подяка природі за зцілення. Століття минали за століттями і люди все глибше пізнавали таємниці, сховані в цілющих коренях, листі, квітах. Травники передавали свої знання з покоління в покоління. Лікування рослинами і в наш час не втратило своєї актуальності. Сьогодні цей досвід поколінь ретельно вивчається науковцями та впроваджується в офіційній медицині.
У центральній читальній залі університетської книгозбірні для здобувачів освіти другого курсу груп 21-С (зубні техніки), 201ФБН (фармацевти) і викладачів кафедри фармакології, клінічної фармакології та фармації було організовано фітогодину з презентацією книжково-ілюстративної виставки «Шукайте лікаря в природі».
Під час заходу відвідувачі дізналися про принципові переваги фітотерапії та недоліки фітотерапевтичного методу лікування, пригадали історію використання лікарських трав, найвідоміші свідчення про лікування рослинами. На чолі із завідувачем кафедри, доктором медичних наук Русланом Луценком присутні взяли участь у квесті з розпізнавання лікарських рослин, що були представлені на виставці, а також, кожен мав можливість створити власний фітозбір і скуштувати його наприкінці зустрічі.

Sacred herbs of life... People speak of medicinal plants in these terms. In these words, lie both the admiration for the marvelous properties of green healers and gratitude to nature for its healing gifts. Centuries have passed, and people have delved deeper into the secrets hidden in the therapeutic roots, leaves and flowers. Herbalists passed down their knowledge from generation to generation. The use of plants for healing has not lost its relevance in our time. Today, the experience accumulated over generations is carefully studied by scientists and integrated into official medicine.
In the central reading hall of the university library, a phyto-class with a book and illustrative exhibition titled "Seek a Doctor in Nature" was organized for the second-year students of groups 21-C (dental technicians), 201FBM (pharmacy), and the faculty staff of the Department of Pharmacology, Clinical Pharmacology and Pharmacy.
During the event, visitors learned about the fundamental advantages and disadvantages of phytotherapy, recalled the history of using medicinal herbs, and explored the most famous indications for plant-based treatments. Head of the Department, Dr. Ruslan Lutsenko, DMSc, and the attendees participated in a quest to recognize medicinal plants presented at the exhibition. Additionally, everyone had the opportunity to create their own herbal collection and taste it at the end of the meeting.
