20 квітня 2024 року доцентка кафедри іноземних мов з латинською мовою та медичною термінологією Юлія Лисанець прочитала онлайн лекцію на тему “Mastering Academic Writing: Essential Skills and Strategies” для студентів Університету Ваямби (Шрі-Ланка). 

Під час лекції було розглянуто найважливіші лексико-граматичні аспекти наукового стилю англійської мови, потенційні труднощі під час вивчення англійської мови наукового спілкування (паронімія, полісемія, енантіосемія та ін.), а також стратегії усунення й уникнення можливих помилок в англомовному дискурсі.

Guest lecture by a PSMU scholar at the University of Wayamba (Sri Lanka)

On April 20, 2024, Associate Professor Yuliia Lysanets, the Department of Foreign Languages with Latin and Medical Terminology, gave an online lecture on "Mastering Academic Writing: Essential Skills and Strategies" for students of the University of Wayamba (Sri Lanka).

The lecture covered the most important lexical and grammatical aspects of the scientific style of English, potential difficulties in learning English for scientific communication (paronymy, polysemy, enantiosemy, etc.), as well as strategies for eliminating and avoiding possible errors in English-language discourse.
