«Гострий апендицит та його ускладнення» – тема чергового засідання студентської наукової групи кафедри хірургії №1, яке відбулося 18 жовтня 2023 р. під керівництвом завуча кафедри Тамари Городової-Андрєєвої. Присутні розглянули основні питання етіології, патогенезу, класифікації, діагностики й лікування гострого апендициту та його ускладнень і наочно продемонстровано й прокоментовано основні етапи лапараскопічної апендектомії. У підсумку учасникам засідання було наголошено на важливість ранньої діагностики та вчасного оперативного лікування гострого апендициту задля уникнення важких ускладнень.

"Acute Appendicitis and its Complications": the Topic of the Latest SSG Meeting

"Acute Appendicitis and its Complications" was the topic of the latest meeting of the student scientific group at the Department of Surgery No.1, which took place on October 18, 2023, under the guidance of the Deputy Head of the Department, Tamara Horodova-Andreieva. The group memebers  discussed the fundamental issues of etiology, pathogenesis, classification, diagnosis and treatment of acute appendicitis and its complications. The key stages of laparoscopic appendectomy were visually demonstrated and explained. In conclusion, the participants emphasized the importance of early diagnosis and timely surgical treatment of acute appendicitis to avoid severe complications.
