З 4 по 6 квітня 2024 року у гібридному форматі у м. Києві з трансляцією відбувся науковий симпозіум з міжнародною участю – ХХVI Національна Школа гастроентерологів, гепатологів України «Сучасні підходи до профілактики, діагностики та лікування захворювань органів травлення та супутньої патології. Академія здорового харчування».
Захід проходив у режимі пленарних засідань, сателітних симпозіумів. Заслухано 50 доповідей з актуальних питань патогенезу, діагностики, лікування та профілактики захворювань шлунково-кишкового тракту і печінки, які представили 31 спікер, з них 5 – іноземні (Італія, Японія, Швеція).
Більшість доповідей була присвячена новим науковим розробкам, практичним рекомендаціям української та міжнародних асоціацій, проблемним питання сучасної гастроентерології та дієтології.
Щодня у роботі симпозіуму брали участь понад 9 тисяч фахівців різних спеціальностей.
Президент Української гастроентерологічної асоціації, проректор з науково-педагогічної роботи та післядипломної освіти, професор Ігор Скрипник на відкритті наукового форуму виступив з доповіддю щодо нагальних проблем та перспектив розвитку асоціації.
З науковими доповідями, присвяченими сучасним проблемам гастроентерології та гепатології, виступили професор Ігор Скрипник та завідувачка кафедри внутрішньої медицини № 1, д. мед. н, доцент Ганна Маслова.
На конференції відбулась активна дискусія з питань, які цікавили учасників у обговоренні доповідей.

XXVI National School of Gastroenterologists and Hepatologists of Ukraine: outcomes of the scientific symposium
From April 4 to 6, 2024, a scientific symposium with international participation - the XXVI National School of Gastroenterologists and Hepatologists of Ukraine "Modern Approaches to the Prevention, Diagnosis and Treatment of Digestive Diseases and Related Pathologies. Academy of Healthy Eating".
The event was held in the form of plenary sessions and satellite symposia. The participants were presented 50 reports on topical issues of pathogenesis, diagnosis, treatment and prevention of gastrointestinal and liver diseases made by 31 speakers, including 5 foreign speakers (Italy, Japan, Sweden).
Most of the presentations were devoted to new scientific developments, practical recommendations of Ukrainian and international associations, and problematic issues of modern gastroenterology and dietetics.
More than 9 thousand specialists of various specialties took part in the symposium every day.
The President of the Ukrainian Gastroenterological Association, Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs and Postgraduate Education, Professor Igor Skrypnyk, at the opening of the scientific forum, made a presentation on the urgent problems and prospects for the development of the Association.
Professor Igor Skrypnyk and Head of the Department of Internal Medicine No. 1, Doctor of Medicine, Associate Professor Anna Maslova made scientific reports on modern problems of gastroenterology and hepatology.
