На кафедрі ендокринології з дитячими інфекційними хворобами викладачі з учасниками студентського наукового товариства провели дослідження актуальної теми «Хвороба Лайма у дітей». Як відомо Полтавська область є осередком даної нозології, що відмічається підвищенням захворюваності з настанням теплої пори року. 19 квітня 2024 року в місті Тернополі молодіжною науковою лігою була організовано V Всеукраїнську студентську наукову конференцію на тему "Розвиток сучасної науки: актуальні питання теорії та практики" і здобувачі 6 курсу медичного факультету № 1 ПДМУ Дмитро Ладоненко, Наталія Дементієнко, Лідія Назаренко не тільки взяли участь у заході, але й представили цікаву публікацію на тему: «Захворюваність дітей на хворобу Лайма». Це захворювання також відоме як системний кліщовий бореліоз, стало об'єктом уваги науковців з усього світу і становить серйозну проблему для медичної громадськості.
Дослідження на конференції представили порівняльний аналіз захворюваності в Полтавському регіоні з 2000 по 2023 рік, а також спрямовані на аналіз сучасних підходів до діагностики та лікування цієї хвороби у дітей. Участь у таких наукових заходах дозволяє обмінюватись досвідом і знаннями, щоб спільно працювати над вирішенням актуальних проблем нашого часу та Полтавського регіону. Викладачі Kатерина Пікуль, Валентина Ільченко, Kонстянтин Прилуцький, Оксана Муравльова, Златослава Шаєнко опублікували статтю в журналі Scopus «Здоров’я дитини» «A clinical case of persistent Lyme disease in a child», де висвітлили клінічний випадок.
"Lyme disease in children": impressive investigations of PSMU researchers
At the Department of Endocrinology with Pediatric Infectious Diseases, the faculty staff together with the members of the student scientific society conducted research "Lyme disease in children". Poltava region is known as the center of this nosology, which is marked by an increase in morbidity with the onset of the warm season. On April 19, 2024, in Ternopil, the Youth Scientific League organized the V All-Ukrainian Student Scientific Conference "Development of Modern Science: Topical Issues of Theory and Practice" and the 6-year students of the Medical Faculty No. 1 of PSMU Dmytro Ladonenko, Nataliia Dementienko, Lidiia Nazarenko not only took part in the event, but also presented an impressive publication on the topic: "The incidence of Lyme disease in children". This disease, also known as systemic tick-borne borreliosis, has become the focus of attention of researchers from around the world and poses a serious problem for the medical community.
The research at the conference presented a comparative analysis of the incidence in the Poltava region from 2000 to 2023, and aimed to analyze current approaches to the diagnosis and treatment of this disease in children. Participation in such scientific events allows us to exchange experience and knowledge in order to work together to solve the urgent problems of our time and the Poltava region. Lecturers Kateryna Pikul, Valentyna Ilchenko, Kostiantyn Prylutskyi, Oksana Muravliova, Zlatoslava Shaienko published an article in the Scopus journal "Child Health" "A clinical case of persistent Lyme disease in a child", where they reported a clinical case.
