1 лютого 2024 року співробітники кафедри післядипломної освіти лікарів-ортодонтів разом зі слухачами циклу спеціалізації з фаху «Ортодонтія» та клінічними ординаторами-іноземцями ознайомилися з історією становлення стоматологічної науки у нашому університеті від відкриття одонтологічного факультету у Харківській медичній академії, згодом у Полтавському медичному стоматологічному інституті до сьогодення Полтавського державного медичного університету.
Слухачі відкрили для себе оновлені експозиції музею: скіфський період, народну медицину, губернський період, період Другої світової війни, повоєнні роки, період Незалежності та сучасні роки. Пізнавальною була розповідь про видатних медичних діячів Полтавщини, зокрема, цікава історія про видатного хірурга та науковця Миколу Скліфасовського. Факти життя великого хірурга викликали у всіх захоплення.
Викладачі кафедри, слухачі та клінічні ординатори-іноземці висловлюють вдячність завідувачці народного музею історії ПДМУ Тамілі Дашевській.
History of the Formation of Dental Science at PSMU: Exploring Exhibits at the University History Museum
On February 1, 2024, the faculty staff of the Department of Postgraduate Education for Orthodontists, together with the trainees of the specialization cycle in Orthodontics and foreign clinical residents, have been introduced with the history of the formation of dental science at our university. The journey traced from the establishment of the Dental Faculty at Kharkiv Medical Academy, later at Poltava Medical Stomatological Institute, to the present-day Poltava State Medical University.
Participants discovered the updated exhibits of the museum, covering the Scythian period, traditional medicine, the gubernatorial period, the World War II period, post-war years, the Independence period and present times. The narrative about prominent medical figures from Poltava, including the fascinating story of the renowned surgeon and scientist Mykola Sklifosovsky, was enlightening. The life facts of the great surgeon fascinated everyone.
