Кафедра педіатрії №1 із неонатологією взяла участь у науково-практичній конференції з міжнародною участю, присвяченій 30-річному ювілею Національної академії медичних наук України «Актуальні питання фізіології, патології та організації медичного забезпечення дітей шкільного віку та підлітків».

Професор Валерій Похилько виступив із доповіддю, що актуалізувала питання ментального здоров'я дітей та підлітків «Виклики сьогодення: оцінка психологічного стану родин вимушено переміщених осіб».  На жаль, ця категорія дітей дуже часто позбавлена таких основ здорового дитинства, як повноцінне сімейне спілкування, проживання у своїх оселях, збалансоване харчування та повноцінний сон, а також спілкування з однолітками.

Медичні працівники повинні володіти прийомами першої психологічної допомоги дітям та їх родинам, адже в сучасних реаліях це надзвичайно важливо!

The Department of Pediatrics No. 1 with Neonatology participated in the scientific and practical conference with international participation dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the National Academy of Medical Sciences of Ukraine. The conference focused on "Current Issues of Physiology, Pathology and Organization of Medical Care for School-Age Children and Adolescents."

Professor Valerii Pokhylko delivered presentation that addressed the issues of mental health in children and adolescents "Challenges Facing Society Today: Assessing the Psychological State of Families of Internally Displaced Persons." Unfortunately, this category of children is often deprived of fundamental elements of a healthy childhood, such as full family communication, living in their own homes, balanced nutrition, full sleep and interaction with peers.

Medical professionals must possess techniques for providing initial psychological assistance to children and their families, as it is extremely crucial in today's realities.
