На кафедрі оториноларингології з офтальмологією Полтавського державного медичного університету відбулося засідання Круглого столу, присвячене темі "Академічна доброчесність і медицина". До участі у виховному заході долучилися співробітники кафедри, лікарі-інтерни кафедри, аспіранти, слухачі циклу тематичного удосконалення з отоларингології, члени студентської наукової групи та здобувачі вищої освіти.
Зі вступним словом здо учасників звернулися директорка Навчально-наукового інституту післядипломної освіти ПДМУ, докторка медичних наук Алла Марченко, а також завідувач кафедри оториноларингології з офтальмологією Михайло Безега. Йшлося про важливість формування високих стандартів академічної доброчесності серед медичних працівників, чесність, прозорість та професіоналізм як основу для розвитку медичної науки та забезпечення якості медичних послуг. З доповідями виступили лікарі-інтерни, які поділилися своїм досвідом у впровадженні академічної доброчесності в медичну практику, а також обговорили етичні питання, які виникають у повсякденній медичній діяльності.
Особливу увагу на заході приділили правовим аспектам протидії корупції в медицині. Запрошений гість, кандидат юридичних наук, доцент кафедри правознавства Полтавського державного аграрного університету Павло Коломієць прочитав доповідь щодо правових механізмів боротьби з корупцією в медичних установах. Він підкреслив необхідність посилення законодавчих заходів і важливість розвитку правової свідомості серед медичних працівників для ефективної протидії незаконним практикам.
Засідання стало важливим майданчиком для обміну думками та ідеями, а також сприяло поглибленню розуміння значення академічної доброчесності в медичній сфері.
