Кафедрою отоларингології з офтальмологією було проведено обласну науково–практичну конференцію на тему: “Рино- та отогенні внутрішньочерепні і орбітальні ускладнення: сучасні погляди на діагностику та лікування у воєнний час”. ЇЇ відвідали лікарі-отоларингологи не тільки міста та області, але й фахівці із інших куточків нашої країни.
З доповідями виступали лікарі-оториноларингологи, аспіранти кафедри та запрошені спеціалісти зі спільних дисциплін, а саме, лікар-офтальмолог, асистент кафедри отоларингології з офтальмологією Олефір Ірина та лікар-нейрохірург, нейрохірургічного відділення КП „Полтавська обласна клінічна лікарня імені М. В. Скліфосовського” Нос Андрій.
На завершення з доповіддю виступив завідувач кафедри отоларингології з офтальмологією ПДМУ Михайло Безега. Він розглянув болючу, але важливу тему лікарських помилок в діагностиці та лікуванні ЛОР-хвороб. Такий всебічний та міждисциплінарний розгляд проблематики внутрішньочерепних і орбітальних ускладнень - важливий елемент підготовки сучасного висококваліфікованого лікаря.
Розглянуті питання та клінічні випадки стануть в нагоді при практичній діяльності як молодим лікарям, так і досвідченим спеціалістам отоларингологічного профілю.
ENT physicians addressed key diagnostic and treatment issues during wartime
The Department of Otolaryngology with Ophthalmology held a regional scientific and practical conference on the topic: "Rhino- and Otogenic Intracranial and Orbital Complications: Current Views on Diagnosis and Treatment During Wartime." The event was attended by ENT doctors not only from the city and region but also by specialists from other parts of the country.
Presentations were given by otorhinolaryngologists, postgraduate students of the department, and invited specialists from related disciplines, namely Iryna Olefir, an ophthalmologist and Assistant Professor of the Department of Otolaryngology with Ophthalmology, Andrii Nos, a neurosurgeon from the Neurosurgery Unit of the CE "M.V. Sklifosovsky Poltava Regional Clinical Hospital".
The conference concluded with a presentation by Mykhailo Bezeha, the Head of the Department of Otolaryngology with Ophthalmology at PSMU. He addressed the challenging yet crucial topic of medical errors in the diagnosis and treatment of ENT diseases. Such a comprehensive and interdisciplinary examination of the issues related to intracranial and orbital complications is a vital element in training highly qualified contemporary physicians.
The issues discussed and the clinical cases presented will be valuable in the practical activities of both young doctors and experienced ENT specialists.
