5 грудня 2024 року для студентів міжнародного факультету Полтавського державного медичного університету була проведена інтерактивна бесіда на тему: «Медіаграмотність в еру штучного інтелекту». Захід організований кафедрою пропедевтики внутрішньої медицини за участі в. о. декана міжнародного факультету, доцента Олександра Люльки, мав на меті ознайомити майбутніх медичних фахівців із основами медіаграмотності в контексті сучасних технологій, зокрема штучного інтелекту.
Під час дискусії розглянуто важливість вміння критично оцінювати інформацію, що циркулює в медіапросторі, особливо з урахуванням нових викликів, які постають у зв'язку з розвитком штучного інтелекту. Спікери розповіли про можливості й ризики, пов’язані з використанням технологій штучного інтелекту у медіа, а також наголосили на важливості вміння аналізувати джерела інформації, щоб уникнути маніпуляцій та дезінформації.
Особливу увагу було приділено проблемам медіаосвіти в умовах нових цифрових реалій, зокрема, ролі штучного інтелекту в медицині та охороні здоров’я, і як ці зміни впливають на інформаційне середовище. Інтерактивна бесіда стала чудовою нагодою для студентів не лише отримати нові знання, а й обговорити актуальні питання етики та безпеки в інтернеті. Зокрема, наголошувалось на дотриманні норм академічної доброчесності здобувачами освіти та педагогами в сучасних умовах.
Цей захід став важливою складовою підготовки майбутніх медичних спеціалістів, адже в час глобалізації та швидкого розвитку технологій вони повинні бути готові до нових викликів інформаційного суспільства.
Media Literacy in the Era of Artificial Intelligence
On December 5, 2024, an interactive discussion "Media Literacy in the Era of Artificial Intelligence" was held for students of the International Faculty at Poltava State Medical University. Organized by the Department of Propaedeutics of Internal Medicine with the participation of Acting Dean of the International Faculty, Associate Professor Oleksandr Liulka, the event aimed to familiarize future medical professionals with the fundamentals of media literacy in the context of modern technologies, particularly artificial intelligence.
The discussion emphasized the importance of critically evaluating information circulating in the media space, especially in light of the new challenges posed by the development of artificial intelligence. Speakers highlighted the opportunities and risks associated with AI technologies in media, underlining the need to analyze information sources to avoid manipulation and misinformation.
Special focus was placed on the challenges of media education in the new digital realities, particularly the role of AI in medicine and healthcare, and how these changes are shaping the information landscape.
