Лікар-інтерн 1-го року зі спеціальності "Неврологія" Зоряна Карпік представила наукову доповідь на Всеукраїнській науково-практичній конференції лікарів-інтернів "Актуальні питання клінічної медицини" на тему "Головний біль після легкої черепно-мозкової травми внаслідок вибухової хвилі у військовослужбовців з коморбідним посттравматичним стресовим розладом". Вона була виконана під керівництвом завідувача кафедри нервових хвороб, професора Михайла Дельви та доцента кафедри психіатрії, наркології та медичної психології Дмитра Бойка. Виступ отримав заслужене визнання, увінчане дипломом 3-ого ступеня.
Головний біль є однією з найпоширеніших скарг у військовослужбовців, особливо тих, хто отримав черепно-мозкової травму внаслідок дії вибухові хвилі. Це може бути наслідком фізичних ушкоджень, але також часто пов’язано з психічними станами, такими як посттравматичний стресовий розлад. Науковці у своєму дослідженні детально розглянули проблему головного болю після легкої черепно-мозкової травми внаслідок дії вибухової хвилі у військовослужбовців з коморбідним посттравматичним стресовим розладом. Було висвітлено важливі аспекти міждисциплінарної взаємодії між неврологією та психіатрією для комплексного та ефективного лікування цих пацієнтів.
Принагідно, кафедра нервових хвороб та кафедра психіатрії, наркології та медичної психології плідно співпрацюють у сфері наукових досліджень та вивчення захворювань психіки й нервової системи загалом. Такий підхід дозволяє збільшити успішність відновлення здоров'я наших військових та підтримує їх у поверненні до повноцінного життя після служби. Ми пишаємося нашими молодими фахівцями, які здатні до таких вагомих досягнень, та сподіваємося на подальшу співпрацю в цьому напрямку для користі наших військових.
Interdisciplinary interaction in the research of PSMU interns
Zoriana Karpik, the first-year intern majoring in Neurology, presented a scientific report at the All-Ukrainian Scientific and Practical Conference of Interns “Topical Issues of Clinical Medicine” on “Headache after mild traumatic brain injury due to blast wave in military personnel with comorbid post-traumatic stress disorder”. It was performed under the supervision of Professor Mykhailo Delva, the Head of the Department of Nervous Diseases, and Associate Professor Dmytro Boyko, the Department of Psychiatry, Narcology and Medical Psychology. The presentation received well-deserved recognition, crowned with a III-degree diploma.
Headaches are one of the most common complaints among military personnel, especially those who have suffered a traumatic brain injury as a result of blast waves. It can be the result of physical injuries, but it is also often associated with mental conditions such as post-traumatic stress disorder. In their study, the researchers examined in detail the problem of headaches after mild traumatic brain injury due to blast exposure in servicemen with comorbid post-traumatic stress disorder. Important aspects of interdisciplinary interaction between neurology and psychiatry for comprehensive and effective treatment of these patients were highlighted.
Notably, the Department of Nervous Diseases and the Department of Psychiatry, Narcology and Medical Psychology cooperate fruitfully in the field of research and study of mental and nervous system diseases in general. This approach allows us to increase the success of restoring the health of our military and supports them in returning to a full life after service. We are proud of our young professionals who are capable of such significant achievements and look forward to further cooperation in this area for the benefit of our military.
