На базі кафедри оториноларингології з офтальмологією відбулася остання з п’яти зустрічей із першого циклу міжкафедральних фахових зустрічей за участі здобувачів вищої освіти 3 курсу, які навчаються за ОПП Стоматологія, студентів-гуртківців кафедр пропедевтики хірургічної стоматології та оториноларингології, слухачів курсів підвищення кваліфікації. Як і під час попередніх зустрічей завідувач кафедри пропедевтики хірургічної стоматології, професор Вадим Новіков і завуч кафедри оториноларингології з офтальмологією, доцент Валерій Лобурець стали модераторами обговорення складних клінічних випадків, які виникають на межі двох суміжних медичних фахів: захворювання ЛОР-органів і проблем хірургічної стоматології.

Під час цих зустрічей були апробовані нові креативні підходи до вдосконалення методів діагностики та лікування хірургічних захворювань щелеп і обличчя.

Interdepartmental Professional Meeting: Discussion of Complex Cases

The last of five meetings from the first cycle of interdepartmental professional meetings involving third-year dental students studying under the Dentistry program, students-members of the SSG of the Department of Propaedeutics of Oral Surgery and Department of Otolaryngology, and participants of advanced training courses took place at the Department of Otolaryngology with Ophthalmology. Similar to the previous meetings, Professor Vadym Novikov, the Head of the Department of Propaedeutics of Oral Surgery, and Associate Professor Valerii Loburets, the Deputy Head of the Department of Otolaryngology with Ophthalmology, acted as moderators of the discussion of complex clinical cases that arise at the intersection of two adjacent medical specialties: diseases of the ENT organs and oral surgery pathologies.

During these meetings, new creative approaches to improving methods of diagnosis and treatment of oral and maxillofacial pathology were tested.
