2 травня 2024 року відзначає свій 50-річний ювілей завідувач кафедри нервових хвороб Полтавського державного медичного університету, доктор медичних наук, професор Михайло Дельва.
Адміністрація ПДМУ на чолі з ректором, професором Вячеславом Жданом, колектив кафедри нервових хвороб, науково-викладацький колектив та вся університетська спільнота від усього серця вітають Михайла Юрійовича Дельву зі славною датою у його житті і зичать йому міцного здоров`я, добра, нових наукових здобутків і плідної праці на благо України і вітчизняної медицини.

Автор 205 друкованих робіт, 8 патентів, 8 посібників, цілого ряду нововведень у сферу охорони здоров'я та свідоцтв про реєстрацію авторського права на твір. Член ВГО «Асоціація превентивної та антиейджинг медицини», ВГО "Українське Товариство Інсультної Медицини". Член редакційної колегії журналів: «Міжнародний неврологічний журнал», «Проблеми екології та медицини», «Вісник проблем біології і медицини». Керівник навчально-діагностичних лікувальних «Центру для хворих на первинний головний біль», «Центру лікування хворих на розсіяний склероз» ПДМУ. Лікар вищої категорії з фаху “Неврологія”.
Свою наукову й практичну діяльність професор Михайло Дельва присвятив розробці сучасних методів лікування й профілактики широкого спектру неврологічної патології, зокрема інсульту, розсіяного склерозу, різних типів головного болю, вестибулярних порушень тощо.
Мудрий завідувач кафедри, професійний клініцист-невролог, досвідчений педагог, яскрава особистість, ерудит, науковець Дельва Михайло Юрійович користується заслуженим авторитетом серед колег, лікарів, науковців – широкого кола фахівців у медичній галузі, а також численної спільноти людей.

Author of 205 publications, 8 patents, 8 manuals, a number of innovations in the field of healthcare and certificates of copyright registration for the work. He is a member of the Association of Preventive and Anti-Aging Medicine and the Ukrainian Society of Stroke Medicine. Member of the Editorial Board of journals: "International Neurological Journal", "Problems of Ecology and Medicine", "Bulletin of Problems of Biology and Medicine". Head of educational and diagnostic treatment centers "Center for patients with primary headache", "Center for treatment of patients with multiple sclerosis" of PSMU. He is a doctor of the highest category in the specialty "Neurology".
Professor Mykhailo Delva devoted his scientific and practical activities to the development of modern methods of treatment and prevention of a wide range of neurological pathologies, including stroke, multiple sclerosis, various types of headaches, vestibular disorders, etc.
