В Україні чисельність осіб з інвалідністю становить біля 3 мільйонів осіб або понад 6 % від загальної чисельності населення нашої держави. Кожен день у житті людей з особливими потребами наповнений прагненням пристосовуватися до самостійного життя у суспільстві, самовдосконалення, приносити радість собі та оточуючим.
Ця тема завжди була актуальна в нашій країні, особливої ж гостроти набула від початку повномасштабного вторгнення, коли десятки тисяч громадян втратили здоров’я – і бійці і мирні жителі.
Ми повсякчас чуємо такі слова, як “толерантність”, “рівні можливості”… Проте чимало людей ставиться до людей з обмеженими можливостями з насторогою.
Завдання суспільства – докорінно змінити ставлення.
І тут лідерами можуть і навіть зобов’язані стати медичні працівники.
Саме це стало темою обговорення під час інформаційно – виховної години, котра відбулася у КП «2-а МКЛ ПМР», яка є клінічною базою кафедри хірургії №1. Захід відбувся за сприяння директора закладу, професора Максима Дудченка.
Провів інформаційно виховну годину кандидат медичних наук, доцент ЗВО кафедри хірургії №1 Олександр Люлька. Під час обговорення учасники – студенти та лікарі - інтерни переглянули презентацію на тему :"12 людей, з обмеженими можливостями, які досягли успіху в Житті" та відеоролики про історії наших захисників.

Informational session at the Department of Surgery No.1 to mark the International Day of Persons with Disabilities
In Ukraine, the number of people with disabilities is around 3 million, accounting for over 6% of the total population of our country. Every day in the lives of people with special needs is filled with the desire to adapt to independent living in society, self-improvement and bringing joy to themselves and those around them.
This topic has always been relevant in our country, gaining particular urgency since the beginning of the full-scale invasion when tens of thousands of citizens lost their health—both military and civilians.
We often hear words like "tolerance" and "equal opportunities." However, many people approach individuals with disabilities with prejudice. The task of society is to fundamentally change this attitude.
Medical professionals can and should become leaders in this regard. This was the topic of discussion during the informational and educational session at the clinical base of the Department of Surgery No. 1 at the Municipal Enterprise "2nd Clinical Hospital of the PRC," supported by the institution's director, Professor Maxksym Dudchenko.
The informational session was conducted by Associate Professor Oleksandr Liulka, PhD, the Department of Surgery No. 1. During the discussion, participants – students and medical interns – reviewed a presentation on the topic "12 People with Disabilities Who Have Achieved Success in Life" and watched videos about the stories of our defenders.
The event took place within the framework of the "16 Days Against Violence" campaign.
