25 березня 2024 року на кафедрі післядипломної освіти лікарів-ортодонтів відбувся перший захист історії хвороби за темою «І клас за Енглем» у слухачів циклу Спеціалізація за фахом «Ортодонтія».
Це було надзвичайно цікаво!
Завідувачка кафедри, професорка Віра Куроєдова, докторка медичних наук, професорка, лікарка-ортодонт з величезним досвідом роботи була на захисті робіт і мала що сказати на користь тієї чи іншої роботи, при нагоді додаючи ще раз необхідне уточнення з власної практики. Була не тільки прискіпливим екзаменатором, а й не втрачала нагоди вкотре вчити клінічному мисленню своїх підопічних. А слухачі вперше у своїй стоматологічній практиці продемонстрували самостійно підготовлені мультимедійні презентації історії хвороби ортодонтичних пацієнтів та власноруч виготовлені індивідуальні ортодонтичні апарати. У презентаціях вони провели діагностику ортодонтичного хворого, розробили план лікування, зосереджено розглянули кожен аспект, кожен етапж , який може вплинути на стан пацієнта, професійно зосередились на призначенні ортодонтичного лікування. А ще у підсумку разом з викладачами дійшли висновку, що клінічному мисленню треба вчитися постійно, немає меж досконалості!

On March 25, 2024, at the Department of Postgraduate Education for Orthodontists, the first defense of the disease history on the topic "Angle’s Class I " took place for students of the specialization cycle "Orthodontics."
It was extremely interesting! The head of the department, Professor Vira Kuroiedova, Doctor of Medical Sciences, Professor, an orthodontist with extensive experience, was at the defense of works and had a lot to say in favor of one or another work, adding necessary clarifications from her own practice when needed. She was not only a strict examiner but also took every opportunity to teach clinical thinking to her students again. Moreover, for the first time in their dental practice, the students independently prepared multimedia presentations of the disease history of orthodontic patients and made individually manufactured orthodontic appliances. In their presentations, they conducted a diagnosis of orthodontic patients, developed a treatment plan, carefully considered every aspect, every stage that could affect the patient's condition, and professionally focused on the prescription of orthodontic treatment. And in conclusion, together with the instructors, they came to the conclusion that clinical thinking needs to be constantly learned, there are no limits to perfection!
