Експозиція музею Полтавського державного медичного університету поповнилася цінним раритетним експонатом – стоматологічним артикулятором HANAU models 130-1 THRU 130-21 (напіврегульованим) 1936 року. Унікальний експонат разом із комплектом аксесуарів і захисним чохлом передав завідувач кафедри пропедевтики хірургічної стоматології, доктор медичних наук, професор Вадим Новіков.
Артикулятор є важливим інструментом у стоматологічній практиці. Він дозволяє моделювати й аналізувати функції жувального апарату, відтворюючи рухи нижньої щелепи. Це допомагає стоматологам і зубним технікам створювати та коригувати зубні протези, ортодонтичні конструкції й ефективно планувати лікування пацієнтів.
Поява цього експоната в університетському музеї демонструє історичний розвиток стоматологічних технологій та їхній вплив на сучасну медицину. А його використання у навчальному процесі сприятиме підготовці висококваліфікованих фахівців, які зможуть поєднувати історичні знання з інноваційними підходами у своїй практиці.

The National Museum of PSMU History receives a unique 1936 dental device as a gift
The exhibition at the Poltava State Medical University Museum has been enriched with a rare artifact—a semi-adjustable dental articulator, HANAU models 130-1 THRU 130-21, from 1936. This unique item, complete with a set of accessories and a protective case, was donated by Professor Vadym Novikov, Doctor of Medical Sciences and Head of the Department of Propaedeutics of Oral Dentistry.
The articulator is a vital tool in dental practice. It allows for the simulation and analysis of the masticatory apparatus by reproducing the movements of the lower jaw. This aids dentists and dental technicians in designing and adjusting dental prostheses, orthodontic appliances, and effectively planning patient treatments.
The addition of this artifact to the university museum highlights the historical evolution of dental technologies and their impact on modern medicine. Moreover, its use in the educational process will contribute to the training of highly qualified specialists who can integrate historical knowledge with innovative approaches in their practices.
