Наприкінці кожного року науковий підрозділ ЗВО ПДМУ традиційно підбиває підсумки. Сьогодні складно говорити про час, що минає. Адже це ще один рік трагедій, втрат, болю і гіркоти. Але разом з тим – величезної гордості, надії, сподівань та віри у нашу ВЕЛИКУ ПЕРЕМОГУ! Ми продовжували працювати, долати складнощі та підкорювати вершини науки. У нас є чим пишатися та чим звітувати.
У науковий літопис цього тижня ввійдуть такі значущі події, як:
3 публічні захисти дисертаційних робіт на здобуття ступеня доктора філософії (PhD) у галузі знань 22 «Охорона здоров’я» за спеціальністю 222 «Медицина».
5 грудня 2023 році свої наукові здобутки на розгляд спеціалізованої вченої ради представив лікар-хірург серцево-судинного відділення інтервенційної радіології з блоком інтенсивної терапії та рентгенхірургічним блоком КП «Полтавська обласна клінічна лікарня імені М. В. Скліфосовського Полтавської обласної ради» Пузирьов Гай Сергійович, робота якого була присвячена удосконаленню методів діагностики і рентгенендоваскулярного лікування хворих з ішемічною формою синдрому діабетичної стопи » (Науковий керівник доктор медичних наук, професор Ляховський Віталій Іванович).
Дисертаційну роботу на тему «Оптимізація діагностики та лікування серцевої недостатності у хворих із гострим інфарктом міокарда у поєднанні з цукровим діабетом 2 типу» 6 грудня 2023 року захистила здобувачка кафедри внутрішніх хвороб та медицини невідкладних станів Співак Юлія Анатоліївна (Науковий керівник доктор медичних наук, професор Потяженко Максим Макарович).
А вже 7 грудня 2023 року свої наукові результати успішно презентувала лікарка, судово-медичний експерт Обласного бюро судово-медичної експертизи Департаменту охорони здоров’я Полтавської обласної державної адміністрації Мустафіна Галія Міркатівна на тему «Структурно-функціональні особливості печінки за умов комбінованого впливу харчових добавок» (Науковий керівник доктор медичних наук, професор Старченко Іван Іванович).
Здобувачі представили глибокі наукові результати, обгрунтували практичне значення своїх здобутків та гідно зарекомендували себе як кваліфіковані спеціалісти і компетентні науковці.
Що ж до значущої події, так званої «родзинки» всього тижня, то нею стала науково-практична конференція з міжнародною участю «Від новітніх наукових концепцій в гастроентерології та гепатології до конкретного пацієнта», яка відбулася 7-8 грудня 2023 року на базі Полтавського державного медичного університету і була присвячена 80-річчю від дня народження видатного гастроентеролога України д. мед. н., професорки Ірини Іванівни Дегтярьової, авторки 550 наукових робіт, під керівництвом якої було також виконано 5 докторських та 17 кандидатських дисертацій. Упродовж двох днів конференції заслухано 52 доповіді, які були представлені 35 провідними фахівцями у галузі гастроентерології та гепатології з 8 вищих навчальних медичних закладів та 7 наукових установ України. Сучасні підходи до діагностики та лікування стеатотичної хвороби печінки представив провідний вчений у галузі світової гепатології Мазен Нуреддин (США). Учасники конференції, переглянувши відеофільм «Назавжди у моєму серці», яку підготував учень професора Ірини Дегтярьової, президент Української гастроентерологічної асоціації професор Ігор Скрипник, ознайомились з життєвим і творчим шляхом, пригадали манеру ораторської майстерності науковиці.

Scientific Chronicle of the Week: Researchers Provide Reports
At the end of each year, the academic department of PSMU traditionally summarizes its achievements. Today, it is challenging to speak about the passing time, as it represents another year of tragedies, losses, pain, and bitterness. However, along with that, it is a year of immense pride, hope, expectations, and belief in our GREAT VICTORY! We continued to work, overcome challenges, and conquer the peaks of science. We have much to be proud of and report.
This week's scientific chronicle will include significant events such as:
3 public defenses of doctoral dissertations in the field of knowledge 22 "Health" for the degree of Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in the specialty 222 "Medicine.
On December 5, 2023, the achievements of the cardiovascular surgeon Hai Puzyriov were presented for consideration by a one-time specialized scientific council. Dr. Puzyriov works in the interventional radiology department with an intensive care unit and an X-ray surgical block at the Municipal Clinical Hospital named after M.V. Sklifosovsky of the Poltava Regional Council. His research focused on improving the methods of diagnosis and X-ray endovascular treatment for patients with the ischemic form of diabetic foot syndrome. The scientific supervision was provided by Professor Vitalii Liakhovskyi, Doctor of Medical Sciences.
On December 6, 2023, the doctoral dissertation on the topic "Optimization of Diagnosis and Treatment of Heart Failure in Patients with Acute Myocardial Infarction in Combination with Type 2 Diabetes" was defended by Yuliia Spivak, Department of Internal Diseases and Emergency Medicine. Her academic supervisor is Professor Maksym Potiazhenko, Doctor of Medical Sciences.
And on December 7, 2023, a forensic medical expert Galiia Mustafina from the Regional Bureau of Forensic Medical Examination of the Department of Health of the Poltava Regional State Administration presented her scientific results on the topic "Structural and functional features of the liver under the conditions of combined influence of food additives." The research was conducted under the guidance of Professor Ivan Starchenko, Doctor of Medical Sciences.
The participants demonstrated profound scientific results, justified the practical significance of their achievements and proved themselves as qualified specialists and competent researchers.
As for the significant event, the so-called "highlight" of the entire week, it was the scientific-practical conference with international participation "From Cutting Edge Scientific Concepts in Gastroenterology and Hepatology to the Individual Patient." The conference took place on December 7-8, 2023, at the Poltava State Medical University and was dedicated to the 80th birthday of the distinguished Ukrainian gastroenterologist, Professor Iryna Degtyaryova. She is the author of 550 scientific works, and under her guidance, 5 doctoral and 17 candidate dissertations were completed.
During the two days of the conference, 52 presentations were delivered by 35 leading experts in the field of gastroenterology and hepatology from 8 higher medical educational institutions and 7 research institutions in Ukraine. The conference featured modern approaches to the diagnosis and treatment of steatotic liver disease, presented by the leading expert in global hepatology, Mazen Nureddin (USA).
Conference participants had the opportunity to watch the video "Forever in My Heart," prepared by Professor Igor Skrypnyk, the President of the Ukrainian Gastroenterological Association, and a student of Professor Iryna Degtyaryova. In this video he provided insights into the life and creative path of Professor Iryna Degtyaryova, recalling her oratorical mastery.
A heartfelt salute to the Armed Forces of Ukraine for the opportunity to continue fruitful work, create and dream! We also wish everyone inspiration, creative ideas, and strength in the development of Ukrainian medical science. Wishing a swift and victorious Peace in the New Year!
