4 жовтня щорічно відзначають Всесвітній день захисту тварин. Він об’єднує людей у турботі та піклуванні про тваринний світ. У цей день інформують про необхідність підтримки піклування про тварин, а також про їхню роль у балансі екосистеми нашої планети.

Спілкування з тваринами покращує настрій та робить людей щасливішими, а також, за даними науковців, тварини сприяють дружбі та забезпечують соціальну підтримку між людьми.

5 жовтня 2023 року студенти IV курсу 8Н групи медичного факультету № 2 разом з доцентом кафедри нервових хвороб Катериною Гринь долучилися до допомоги зоозахисній організації «Кицькин дім Мокрі носи». Девізом цієї організації є вислів: «Допомогти тварині може тільки людина». Сухий корм для тварин був переданий Ткаченко Юлії, представнику благодійної зоозахисної організації.

Every year on October 4, World Animal Day is celebrated, bringing people together in care and concern for the animal kingdom. On this day, awareness is raised about the importance of supporting animal welfare and their role in the balance of our planet's ecosystem.

Interacting with animals improves mood and makes people happier. Scientists report that animals also promote friendship and provide social support among humans.

On October 5, 2023, the 4-yaer students from Group 8N group of the Medical Faculty 2, along with Kateryna Hryn, Associate Professor of the Department of Neurological Diseases, joined in assisting the animal welfare organization "Kitty's Home Wet Noses". The motto of this organization is: "Only a human can help an animal." Dry food for animals was handed over to Yuliia Tkachenko, a representative of the charitable animal welfare organization.
