Щороку 28 січня українці згадують важливу історичну подію – день, коли 33 роки тому Верховна Рада Україна офіційно затвердила синьо-жовтий прапор як символ нової незалежної держави. Перш ніж остаточно зупинитися на звичному для нас синьо-жовтому забарвленні, прапор України встиг побувати червоним, червоно-синім та навіть малиновим.
У 1918 році Центральна Рада на чолі з Михайлом Грушевським ухвалила Закон про державний прапор Української Народної Республіки, який був жовто-синім (жовтий - зверху, синій - знизу), які символізували:
- жовтий, золотий - Творця, Бога-Отця, Вищу Духовність;
- синій - все земне, а також свободу вибору, якою Творець наділив свої творіння в надії, що вони нею не зловживатимуть.
Проте в такому вигляді стяг недовго проіснував, і вже у період правління Гетьманату Павла Скоропадського його знову змінили на синьо-жовтий.
Співробітники кафедри дитячої стоматології залучили до інтерактивного спілкування лікарів-інтернів 114-ої групи і разом з ними обговорили значущість цієї історичної події в житті українського народу.
Significant historical date in the establishment of an independent state: PSMU commemorated
Every year on January 28, Ukrainians recall an important historical event—the day when, 33 years ago, the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine officially approved the blue and yellow flag as the symbol of the newly independent state. Before settling on the familiar blue and yellow design, Ukraine's flag went through several variations, including red, red and blue, and even crimson.
In 1918, the Central Rada, led by Mykhailo Hrushevskyi, passed a law establishing the national flag of the Ukrainian People's Republic, which was yellow and blue (yellow on top, blue on the bottom). These colors symbolized:
- • Yellow, gold – the Creator, God the Father, supreme spirituality;
- • Blue – everything earthly, as well as the freedom of choice granted by the Creator to His creations, with the hope that they would not abuse it.
However, this version of the flag did not last long. During the rule of Hetman Pavlo Skoropadskyi, it was changed back to blue and yellow.
Staff members of the Department of Pediatric Dentistry engaged medical interns from Group 114 in an interactive discussion, where they explored the significance of this historical event in the life of the Ukrainian people.
