25 листопада 2023 року виповнилося 213 років від дня народження  геніального хірурга, засновника топографічної анатомії та військово-польової хірургії, людини, яка вперше застосувала наркоз у польових умовах і розробила техніку іммобілізації ушкоджених кінцівок, Миколи Івановича Пирогова.

З метою вшанування пам’яті генія медицини завідувачка кафедри іноземних мов з латинською мовою та медичною термінологією Олена Бєляєва і доцентка Юлія Лисанець провели просвітницько-виховний захід зі здобувачами вищої освіти 10 групи першого курсу стоматологічного факультету.

Студенти ознайомилися з маловідомими фактами із біографії видатної особистості, що залишається взірцем лікаря, науковця, педагога.

In Memory of the Distinguished Physician, Scientist, Educator: Students Explore the History of Medical Achievements

On November 25, 2023, it marked the 213th anniversary of the birth of the brilliant surgeon, founder of topographical anatomy and military field surgery, the individual who first applied anesthesia in the battlefield conditions and developed the technique of immobilizing injured limbs, Mykola Ivanovych Pirogov.

To honor the memory of this medical genius, Olena Beliaieva, the Head of the Department of Foreign Languages with Latin and Medical Terminology, and Associate Professor Yulia Lysanets organized an informational educational event with the first-year students from the Group 10, Faculty of Dentistry.

During the event, students familiarized themselves with lesser-known facts from the biography of this outstanding personality, who remains an exemplary figure as a physician, scientist and educator.
