27 жовтня – День української писемності та мови. Уже стало традицією українців в усьому світі до цієї дати писати Всеукраїнський радіодиктант національної єдності. Долучилися до цього дійства – щорічної загальнонаціональної флешмоб-акції єднання навколо рідної мови, XXIIІ Радіодиктанту національної єдності-2023 – й викладачі кафедри українознавства та гуманітарної підготовки ПДМУ разом зі здобувачами освіти.

Авторкою радіодиктанту-2023 стала українська поетеса та перекладачка Катерина Калитко. Назва тексту — "Дороги України". До методичної роботи над радіодиктантом також долучилася мовознавиця, докторка  філологічних наук Лариса Масенко. Актор театру і кіно Олексій Гнатковський, який зіграв Івана Довбуша у фільмі "Довбуш", читав текст радіодиктанту.

Пліч-о-пліч під час написання диктанту сиділи та однаково переживали і ті, хто тільки вступив до вишу, і ті, хто вже давно отримав диплом філолога. Але головною для всіх учасників була не лише перевірка своїх знань української мови, а єднання, бо мета цьогорічного радіодиктанту – об'єднати людей навколо України у всьому світі, а це в умовах сьогодення є  найвирішальнішою ідеєю, головним чинником великої Перемоги.  

Трохи цікавої інформації.

• Текст радіодиктанту завжди унікальний, його розробляють спеціально, у середньому це 100-120 слів.
• За статистикою, тільки близько відсотка учасників не припускаються помилок.
• Уперше в Україні Радіодиктант відбувся 24 травня 2000 року, присвятили його тоді дню Кирила і Мефодія. Акцію, присвячену державній мові, започаткувало Українське радіо. Лише згодом, 9 листопада, День української писемності та мови стає офіційною датою для проведення радіодиктанту.
• З 2015 року організатори акції розпочинають процес диджиталізації: тепер написані диктанти можна сканувати або фотографувати й надсилати електронною поштою. Диктант починають транслювати не лише на радіо, а й на UA:Перший, а з 2017 — на Facebook-сторінці. А 9 листопада 2019 року Google-запит «Радіодиктант» став найпопулярнішим серед української інтернет-аудиторії. Щороку кількість візійних локацій, де пишуть диктант, збільшується.
• Написання радіодиктанту-2023 адаптовано до умов воєнного часу. Також у різних країнах світу  облаштовано студії для написання диктанту для вимушених переселенців і українців, які живуть за кордоном.

• Нідерланди, Бельгія: 1990-2016 рр., великий диктант із нідерландської мови.
• Естонія: з 2008 року загальнонаціональний конкурс електронних диктантів до дня національної мови.

Writing Together!

October 27th is the Day of Ukrainian Literacy and Language. It has become a tradition for Ukrainians all over the world to participate in the All-Ukrainian Radio Dictation of National Unity leading up to this date. The teaching staff of the Department of Ukrainian Studies and Humanities at Poltava State Medical University joined this event along with students.

The author of the 2023 radio dictation was Ukrainian poet and translator Kateryna Kalytko. The title of the text was "Roads of Ukraine." Linguist and Doctor of Philological Sciences, Larisa Masenko, also contributed to the methodological work on the dictation. Oleksiy Hnatkovskyi, theater and movie actor, who portrayed Ivan Dovbush in the film "Dovbush," read the dictation text.

Side by side, participants of all ages, from those who have just entered university to those who have long since received their philologist diplomas, sat and experienced the dictation equally. However, for all participants, the main focus was not just testing their knowledge of the Ukrainian language, but unity. The goal of this year's radio dictation was to unite people around Ukraine all over the world, which is the most crucial idea, the key factor of the great Victory, especially in today's conditions.

A bit of interesting information:

• The text of the radio dictation is always unique, specially crafted and on average consists of 100-120 words.
• According to statistics, only about a few percent of participants make no mistakes.
• In Ukraine, the first Radio Dictation took place on May 24, 2000, dedicated to the Day of Cyril and Methodius. This action, dedicated to the state language, was initiated by Ukrainian Radio. Only later, on November 9, did the Day of Ukrainian Literacy and Language become the official date for the conduct of the radio dictation.
• Since 2015, the organizers of the event have started the process of digitization: now written dictations can be scanned or photographed and sent by email. The dictation is broadcast not only on the radio, but also on UA:First, and since 2017, on the Facebook page. On November 9, 2019, the Google query "Radio Dictation" became the most popular among the Ukrainian internet audience. Every year, the number of visual locations where the dictation is written increases.
• The writing of the 2023 radio dictation was adapted to wartime conditions. In various countries around the world, studios have also been set up for writing dictations for displaced persons and Ukrainians living abroad.
