З давніх часів і по сьогоднішні день скарбницею духовного багатства для людини є книга, саме книга поєднує минуле, сучасне і майбутнє. Книга здатна змінити життя, бути кращим другом і наставником, а вчасно прочитана книга – величезна удача. Тож недарма в народі кажуть, що людина перестає мислити, коли перестає читати.  

14 лютого – Міжнародний день дарування книг. Це добровільна ініціатива, започаткована у 2012 році спрямована на підвищення інтересу та доступу до книг і бібліотек. Мета Міжнародного дня дарування книг – надихнути людей по всьому світу подарувати 14 лютого книгу – бібліотеці, другу, членам родини.

Подарувати бібліотеці книгу – це чудова нагода висловити свою увагу і повагу до усіх шанувальників книг та читання. Пам’ятки людських думок накопичувалися саме в бібліотеці упродовж багатьох століть.

Колектив кафедри біології долучився до святкової акції «Подаруй книгу університетській книгозбірні!» і подарував бібліотеці ПДМУ художні, навчальні, історичні та наукові видання вітчизняних та зарубіжних авторів, які займуть гідне місце у фонді бібліотеки, будуть цікавими для читачів, а також використовуватимуться при проведенні різноманітних заходів по вихованню студентської молоді.

Gift a book to the library – give a book into good hands!

From ancient times to the present day, the treasure trove of spiritual wealth for a person has been a book; it is the book that connects the past, present, and future. A book has the power to change lives, to be a better friend and mentor, and a book read at the right time is a tremendous stroke of luck. So it's not for nothing that people say, "A person stops thinking when they stop reading."

February 14 is International Book Giving Day. It is a voluntary initiative initiated in 2012 aimed at increasing interest in and access to books and libraries. The goal of International Book Giving Day is to inspire people around the world to give a book on February 14 - to the library, to a friend, to family members.

Giving a book to the library is a wonderful opportunity to express your attention and respect to all book lovers and readers. The monuments of human thought have accumulated precisely in the library over many centuries.

The Department of Biology team joined the festive campaign "Give a book to the university library!" and donated to the PSMU library fiction, educational, historical, and scientific publications by domestic and foreign authors, which will take a worthy place in the library's collection, will be interesting for readers, and will be used in various events aimed at educating students.
