7 лютого у стінах Полтавського державного медичного університету відкрилася виставка «Поєднані». Експозиція була присвячена пам’яті Героїв Крут, які боролися проти армії більшовиків у 1918 році та як їх історії знайшли відображення у сучасній війні.
На відкритті були присутні здобувачі I курсу кафедри філософії та суспільних наук та медичного факультету №1 та студенти кафедри українознавства та гуманітарної підготовки. Також на захід завітали представники Відділу управління освітньо-виховною та гуманітарною роботою з молоддю ПДМУ.
«Такий формат подачі нашої історії, допоможе не тільки зрозуміти, що було у минулому, але і який це вплив має на наше сьогодення»,- сказав проректор з науково-педагогічної та виховної роботи, професор Валерій Похилько на презентації.
Детальніше про події тих часів та які паралелі має боротьба студентів у XX столітті з сучасним повномасштабним вторгненням розповіла завідувачка науково-дослідним експозиційним відділом новітньої історії Полтавського краєзнавчого музею ім. В. Кричевського Наталія Кузьменко. Вона наголосила на всіх історичних аспектах, які вплинули на події сучасності, а також детальніше представила історії людей, які брали участь у битві під Крутами та пов’язані з Полтавщиною.
Здобувачі освіти змогли дізнатися більше про важливі події у державотворенні України та актуалізувати вже наявні знання.
"United": Exhibition Dedicated to the Memory of the Heroes of Kruty and the Heroes of the Modern War Opens at PSMU
On February 7, an exhibition titled "United" opened within the walls of Poltava State Medical University. The exposition was dedicated to the memory of the Heroes of Kruty, who fought against the Bolshevik army in 1918, and how their stories found reflection in the modern war.
The opening was attended by the first-year students of the Department of Philosophy and Social Sciences and Medical Faculty No. 1. The staff members of the Management Department for Youth Humanitarian and Educational Activities of PSMU also attended the event.
"This format of presenting our history will not only help understand what happened in the past but also what impact it has on our present," said Valerii Pokhylko, Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs and Extracurricular Activities, during the presentation.
Nataliia Kuzmenko, Head of the Scientific and Research Exhibition Department of the Modern History of the Poltava Local Lore Museum named after V. Krychevsky, provided more details about the events of those times and the parallels between the students' struggle in the 20th century and the modern full-scale invasion. She emphasized all historical aspects that influenced contemporary events and also presented in detail the stories of people who participated in the battle of Kruty and were connected with Poltava region.
The students were able to learn more about important events in the formation of Ukraine and what they have already known about this.
