У Полтаві відбувся семінар з обговорення основ ветеранської політики та результатів загальнонаціонального опитування ветеранів, членів їх родин, родин загиблих, ветеранських громадських організацій. У семінарі взяли участь керівник Центру ветеранського розвитку ПДМУ, доцент кафедри психіатрії, наркології та медичної психології Дмитро Бойко та регіональний координатор Всеукраїнської програми ментального здоров'я "Ти як?" у Полтавській області, доцент кафедри філософії та суспільних наук Юлія Ющенко.
Міжнародна організація з міграції (МОМ), у межах проєкту «Шлях Стійкості», за фінансування Федерального Міністерства закордонних справ Німеччини представила результати загальнонаціонального опитування ветеранів, проведеного у 24 областях України та м. Києві. Аналітичний звіт містив різні аспекти соціальної реінтеграції ветеранів, з особливим акцентом на інклюзивності, виявлені фізичні й інші бар'єри та перешкоди на шляху соціальної реінтеграції, а також ролі, які відіграють й можуть відігравати організації ветеранів у сприянні реінтеграції ветеранів сімей у процесі підтримки повернення до цивільного життя, підтримки членів сімей загиблих, зокрема шляхом розвитку інклюзивності.
Під час семінару обговорювалися можливості та перешкоди в реалізації ветеранської політики у Полтавській області. Дмитро Бойко презентував Центр ветеранського розвитку ПДМУ та наголосив на необхідності психологічної підготовки не лише ветеранів, а й суспільства до їх повернення.
Юлія Ющенко під час дискусії представила можливості співпраці із Навчально-науковим центром ментального здоров'я ПДМУ задля якісного відновлення психічного здоров'я ветеранів та членів їх сімей.
У підсумку окреслено шляхи подальшої співпраці різних організацій задля реалізації ветеранської політики на Полтавщині.
PSMU representatives joined the seminar discussing the fundamentals of veteran policy
The seminar, held in Poltava, focused on the fundamentals of veteran policy and the results of a nationwide survey of veterans, their families, families of the deceased and veteran community organizations. The seminar was attended by Dmytro Boyko, Head of the Veterans Development Center at PSMU, Associate Professor of the Department of Psychiatry, Narcology and Medical Psychology, and Yulia Yushchenko, the regional coordinator of the All-Ukrainian Mental Health Program "How Are You?" in Poltava region, Associate Professor of the Department of Philosophy and Social Sciences.
As part of the "Path to Resilience" project funded by the Federal Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Germany, the International Organization for Migration (IOM) presented the results of a nationwide survey of veterans conducted in 24 regions of Ukraine and Kyiv. The analytical report covered various aspects of social reintegration of veterans, with a particular emphasis on inclusiveness. It identified physical and other barriers and obstacles to social reintegration, as well as the roles that veteran organizations play and can play in supporting the reintegration of veterans' families into civilian life through the development of inclusiveness, especially in supporting the families of the deceased.
During the seminar, the possibilities and obstacles in the implementation of veteran policy in the Poltava region were discussed. Dmytro Boyko presented the Veterans Development Center and emphasized the need for psychological preparation not only for veterans but also for society as they reintegrate.
In the discussion, Yuliia Yushchenko presented opportunities for collaboration with the Mental Health Education and Research Center at PSMU for the quality restoration of the mental health of veterans and their families.
In conclusion, pathways for further collaboration among different organizations were outlined to implement veteran policy in the Poltava region.
