15 грудня 2023 року в Полтаві відбулась цікава мультидисциплінарна конференція. Вона присвячена проблемним захворюванням на межі спеціальностей оториноларингології та неврології. Доповідачами були провідні спеціалісти в галузі медицини.
З доповіддю виступив завідувач кафедри оториноларингології з офтальмологією Михайло Безега. Він присвятив її діагностиці та лікуванню акубаротравм, особливостям їх перебігу. Були розглянуті сучасні підходи їх лікування з позиції міждисциплінарної взаємодії лікарів, що особливо актуально у період воєнного стану.
Також з доповіддю виступив завідувач кафедри нервових хвороб, професор Михайло Дельва Він висвітлив наукові аспекти етіології, патогенезу, клініки та лікування різних типів головокружіння і розповів про практичні методики діагностики рівня ураження слухового та вестибулярного аналізаторів.
У режимі онлайн з доповіддю виступила лікарка- вестибулопатолог, провідний науковий співробітник, лабораторія клінічної аудіології та вестибулології ДУ «Інститут отоларингології ім. проф. О. С. Коломійченка НАМН України», І. Бєлякова.
Після доповідей відбулась дискусія та обговорення спірних питань. Це зробило захід цікавим та актуальним для фахівців різних спеціальностей.
Challenging conditions at the intersection of specialties: experts discuss current approaches
On December 15, 2023, an intriguing multidisciplinary conference took place in Poltava. It was dedicated to challenging conditions at the intersection of otolaryngology and neurology specialties. Leading medical experts were speakers at the event.
The presentation was delivered by Dr. Mykhailo Bezyha the Head of the Department of Otolaryngology and Ophthalmology. He devoted it to the diagnosis and treatment of acoustic traumas, highlighting the peculiarities of their course. Current approaches to their treatment were discussed from the perspective of interdisciplinary collaboration among the physicians, especially relevant in times of a state of war.
Also presenting was the Head of the Department of Nervous Diseases, Professor Mykhailo Delva. He elucidated the scientific aspects of the etiology, pathogenesis, clinical course and treatment of various types of dizziness, discussing practical diagnostic methodologies for assessing the impact on auditory and vestibular analyzers.
In an online presentation, Dr. I. Bieliakova, a vestibulopathologist and the leading researcher at the Laboratory of Clinical Audiology and Vestibulology at the Institute of Otolaryngology named after Prof. O. S. Kolomiychenko of the National Academy of Medical Sciences of Ukraine, shared her expertise.
Following the presentations, a discussion and debate on contentious issues took place, making the event captivating and relevant for professionals from various specialties.
