В Полтавській областній бібліотеці для юнацтва імені Олеся Гончара відбулося відкриття профорієнтаційного простору «Територія вибору». До заходу були запрошені і представники кафедри патологічної анатомії та судової медицини асистенти- к мед. н. Дмитро Ніколенко та Анна Задворнова. Під час заходу старшокласники ліцеїв № 31, №  32 та НВК № 16 відвідали цікаві локації профорієнтаційного квесту, в тому числі й «патоморфологічну лабораторію», розташовану у виставочній залі бібліотеки. Представники кафедри ПДМУ розповіли про історію розвитку,  напрямки спеціалізації та науково-практичної діяльності медичного університету, в науково-популярній формі представили  застосування методу клініко-анатомічного аналізу у роботі патоморфолога. Учасники ознайомились із ураженням серця людини при атеросклерозі його судин та із цікавістю тестували інструмент патоморфолога – світлооптичний мікроскоп. Молодь отримала консультативну допомогу у виборі медичних професій та була запрошена до навчання  в Полтавському державному медичному університеті.

Career Guidance Space "Territory of Choice"

The opening of the career guidance space "Territory of Choice" took place at the Poltava Regional Youth Library named after Oles Honchar. Representatives of the Department of Pathological Anatomy and Forensic Medicine, including Assistant Professors Dmytro Nikolenko and Anna Zadvornova, were invited to the event.

During the event, high school students from Lyceums No. 31, No. 32, and Educational Complex No. 16 explored various stations of the career guidance quest, including the "Pathomorphological Laboratory" set up in the library's exhibition hall.

Representatives of PSMU's department shared insights into the history, specialization areas, and scientific-practical activities of the medical university. In a popular science format, they demonstrated the application of clinical-anatomical analysis in the work of a pathomorphologist.

Participants learned about heart damage caused by atherosclerosis and enthusiastically tested a key tool of the pathomorphologist – a light-optical microscope. The students received career counseling in medical professions and were invited to study at Poltava State Medical University.
