4 квітня 2024 року на кафедрі ортопедичної стоматології з мплантологією ПДМУ відбулася зустріч співробітників з учнями 10 класу наукового ліцею № 3 м. Полтави на чолі з викладачем фізики Зуй Валентиною. Завідувач кафедри, доцент Гельфіра Кузь розповіла ліцеїстам про загальні принципи надання стоматологічної допомоги пацієнтам.
Учні ліцею ознайомилися з фізичними явищами роботи основних елементів стоматологічної установки. Всі можливі функції при виконанні стоматологічних маніпуляцій продемонстрував асистент кафедри Ігор Павліш.
Можливості методів діагностики в стоматологічній клініці (рентген, КТГ, методику перевірки стійкості імплантатів) продемонструвала доцент Оксана Добровольська.
Доцент Костянтин Марченко надав можливість побачити мікро та макроструктуру зубів із застосуванням сучасного мікроскопа й моделювання вкладок фотополімерними матеріалами.
З методами фіксації повних знімних пластинкових протезів учнів ознайомила доцент Олександра Тесленко, акцентуючи увагу на фізичних та біофізичних методах, що було підтверджено клінічним випадком.
Про властивості різних відбиткових матеріалів та методиками отримання відбитків розповіли доцент Олександр Добровольський та асистент Ігор Мартиненко. Учням було цікаво самостійно отримати відбитки на фантомах та виготовити моделі. Спостерігали за реакцією поліконденсації відбиткових матеріалів та кристалізації гіпсу.
Ліцеїсти зацікавились роботою лікарів-стоматологів, ставили безліч запитань та подякували співробітникам кафедри за змістовну зустріч.
Career guidance event at the Department of Prosthetic Dentistry with Implantology: it was captivating
On April 4, 2024, at the Department of Prosthetic Dentistry with Implantology at PSMU, a meeting of the staff with the pupils of 10th grade and physics teacher Valentyna Zui of the scientific lyceum № 3 in Poltava was held. The Head of the Department, Associate Professor Gelfira Kuz told the lyceum students about the general principles of providing dental care to patients.
The lyceum students learned about the physical phenomena of the main elements of the dental unit. The Assistant of the Department Ihor Pavlish demonstrated all possible functions during dental manipulations.
Associate Professor Oksana Dobrovolska demonstrated the possibilities of diagnostic methods in a dental clinic (X-ray, CTG, methods of checking the stability of implants).
Associate Professor Kostiantyn Marchenko provided an opportunity to see the micro and macro structure of teeth using a modern microscope and modeling inlays with photopolymer materials.
Associate Professor Oleksandra Teslenko familiarized the students with the methods of fixation of complete removable dentures, focusing on physical and biophysical methods, which was confirmed by a clinical case.
Associate Professor Oleksandr Dobrovolskyi and assistant Ihor Martynenko spoke about the properties of different impression materials and methods of taking impressions. The students were interested in making their own impressions on phantoms and making models. They observed the reaction of polycondensation of impression materials and crystallization of gypsum.
The lyceum students were interested in the work of dentists, asked a lot of questions and thanked the staff of the department for the informative meeting.
