Всеукраїнській акції «16 днів проти насильства». було присвячено просвітницьку годину, котра відбулася в «КП 2-А МКЛ ПМР», що є клінічною базою для кафедри хірургії № 1 ПДМУ. Захід організували за сприяння директора КП «2-а МКЛ ПМР», професора Максима Дудченка.
Студенти та лікарі - інтерни прослухали змістовну розповідь завуча кафедри, Тамари Городової – Андрєєвої, упродовж якої пролунали невтішні дані міжнародних правозахисних організацій.
Так, за інформацією ПРООН, від фізичного домашнього насильства в Україні страждає близько 2-ох мільйонів людей. Понад 80-ти % випадків — це насильство чоловіків над жінками.
За статистикою, щороку від цієї проблеми гинуть 600 українок.
Особливої гостроти питання набуло після початку повномасштабної війни – світ сколихнули події в Бучі та Ірпені, Ізюмі та сотнях сіл та селищ – коли жінки ставали жертвами масових вбивств, катувань та згвалтувань.
Минулого року ООН оприлюднили звіт у якому зафіксовано понад сотні випадків насильства із початку бойових дій.
Наприкінці заходу його учасники переглянули відеоролики на тему: «Ми проти насильства», «Розірви коло насильства». Завідувач кафедри хірургії № 1 Микола Кравців підбив підсумки бесіди та подякував учасникам за відмінну підготовку і опрацьовану цікаву інформацію.
Educational Class: Interesting Facts
As part of the All-Ukrainian campaign "16 Days Against Violence," an educational class dedicated to raising awareness on this issue was held at ME “2nd City Clinical Hospital of Poltava City Council” (the clinical base of the Department of Surgery No. 1 at PSMU). The event was organized with the support of Professor Maxym Dudchenko, the Hospital Director.
Students and medical interns listened to a meaningful presentation made by Tamara Horodova-Andreieva, the Deputy Head of the Department, containing disturbing data from international human rights organizations. According to the UN data, approximately 2 million people in Ukraine suffer from physical domestic violence. Over 80% of cases involve violence against women by men.
Statistics reveal that 600 Ukrainian women die annually due to this issue. The situation became particularly acute after the start of the full-scale war, with events in the cities of Bucha, Irpin, Izyum, and hundreds of villages and towns where women became victims of mass killings, torture and sexual assault.
Last year, the UN released a report documenting hundreds of cases of violence since the beginning of the hostilities. At the end of the event, participants watched video clips on the topics "We Are Against Violence" and "Break the Cycle of Violence." Mykola Kravtsiv, the Head of the Department of Surgery No. 1, summarized the discussion and thanked the participants for their excellent preparation and presentation of information.
