15-17 травня 2024 року у симуляційному тренінговому центрі Полтавського державного медичного університету в рамках партнерської програми «Догляд за матерями та новонародженими» за підтримки Асоціації неонатологів України проведено триденний тренінг з оволодіння практичними навичками «Початкова, реанімаційна і післяреанімаційна допомога новонародженим» для лікарів перинатальних центрів і пологових будинків. У ньому взяли участь більш ніж 70 лікарів з Полтавської, Запорізької, Дніпропетровської, Харківської, Сумської та Чернігівської областей.
Для участі в тренінгу запрошені національні тренери з первинної реанімації новонароджених. Одну з лекцій прочитав професор кафедри педіатрії № 1 із неонатологією Валерій Похилько.
Проєкт має вкрай важливе значення для розвитку перинатальної служби та допоможе підвищити якість надання медичної допомоги новонародженим дітям у родопомічних закладах України. Захід організований Благодійним фондом «Заради дитини» та The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (USA).
A three-day training was held
On May 15-17, 2024, a three-day training on mastering practical skills "Initial, Resuscitation and Post-Resuscitation Care for Newborns" for doctors of perinatal centers and maternity hospitals was held at the Simulation Training Center of Poltava State Medical University under the partnership program "Care for Mothers and Newborns" with the support of the Association of Neonatologists of Ukraine. More than 70 doctors from Poltava, Zaporizhzhia, Dnipro, Kharkiv, Sumy, and Chernihiv regions took part in the training.
National trainers in primary neonatal resuscitation were invited to participate in the training. One of the lectures was delivered by Professor Valerii Pokhylko, the Department of Pediatrics No. 1 with Neonatology.
The project is extremely important for the development of the perinatal service and will help improve the quality of medical care for newborns in obstetric facilities in Ukraine. The event was organized by the Save the Children Charitable Foundation and The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (USA).
