30 січня, До Дня пам’яті Героїв Крут, на базі Симуляційного центру Полтавського державного медичного університету провели круглий стіл студентів за програмою підготовки офіцерів запасу медичної служби на тему: «Роль медика у сучасній війні».
Захід був реалізований за участі кафедри медицини катастроф та військової медицини та організації ветеранів університету.
Для проведення круглого столу були запрошені гості, які зі свого досвіду розповіли здобувачам освіти про роботу медиків під час військових дій та чому це питання залишається особливо актуальним в умовах сьогодення.
Спікерами були: майор медичної служби, начальниця медичної служби Полтавського обласного ТЦК та СП, випускниця ПМСІ Жанна Дрига; старший лейтенант медичної служби, колишня начальниця медичної служби 116-ї окремої бригади ТрО Регіонального управління «Північ» Сил Тро ЗСУ, випускниця ПДМУ Юлія Кандул; молодший сержант, колишній санітарний інструктор, бойовий медик 106-ї окремої бригади ТрО Регіонального управління «Захід» Сил ТрО ЗСУ, учасник бойових дій, здобувач вищої освіти II курсу медичного факультету №1 ПДМУ Віктор Хірян.
Здобувачі вищої освіти медичного університету, що навчаються на військовій кафедрі, мали змогу отримати унікальні знання, які будуть важливі та потрібні їм у майбутній роботі.
Гості не тільки ділилися своїм досвідом, а також ознайомилися з матеріально-технічною базою Симуляційного центру ПДМУ. Зокрема, відвідали станцію екстреної медичної допомоги та станцію хірургічного профілю (операційну).
"The Role of a Medical Professional in Modern Warfare": A Round Table Discussion for Students at PSMU
On January 30, in commemoration of the Kruty Heroes Remembrance Day, a round table discussion for students took place at the Simulation Center of Poltava State Medical University. The event focused on the preparation of reserve officers for the medical service on "The Role of a Medical Professional in Modern Warfare."
The initiative was implemented with the participation of the Department of Accident and Military Medicine and the organization of university veterans. Guests with experience in this field were invited to share their insights on the work of combat medics during military operations and discuss why this issue remains particularly relevant in today's context.
Speakers included MAJ Zhanna Dryha, Major, Army Medical Service, and the Head of the Medical Service of Poltava Regional Training Center and Military Hospital, PMSU alumna; Senior LT Yulia Kandul, Army Medical Service and former head of the Medical Service of the 116th Separate Brigade of the Troop Regional Office "North" of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, PSMU alumna; Viktor Junior SGT Viktor Khirian, former sanitary instructor, combat medic of the 106th separate brigade of the Troop Regional Office "West" of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, and participant in combat operations, the second-year student at the Medical Faculty No.1 of PSMU.
Students of the medical university enrolled in the military department had the opportunity to gain unique knowledge that will be valuable and necessary for their future work. Guests not only shared their experiences but also familiarized themselves with the material and technical base of the Simulation Center of PSMU, including the emergency medical aid station and the surgical profile station (the operating room).
