На базі симуляційного центру ПДМУ відбувся тренінг для викладачів з методик викладання базових та розширених реанімаційних заходів у дітей та дорослих. За основу методичних матеріалів взято рекомендації Європейської ради реанімації, що використовуються у країнах Європейського Союзу. Викладачі з кафедри педіатрії №1 із неонатологією охоче залучилися до освітнього заходу. Серед розглянутих тем – навчання розпізнаванню зупинки серця, сповіщення служби невідкладної допомоги, компресія грудної клітки (непрямий масаж серця), штучне дихання, автоматизована зовнішня дефібриляція (АЗД), універсальний алгоритм розширених реанімаційних заходів, зворотні причини зупинки кровообігу (причини, розпізнавання, усунення/лікування). Теоретичне навчання було підкріплене відпрацюванням симуляційних сценаріїв.

PSMU Simulation Center: Training for Academic Staff

A training session for the academic staff on the methods of teaching basic and advanced resuscitation measures in children and adults took place at the Simulation Center at PSMU. The training materials were based on the recommendations of the European Resuscitation Council used in European Union countries. The faculty members from the Department of Pediatrics No. 1 with Neonatology enthusiastically participated in the training.

Among the topics covered were recognizing cardiac arrest, notifying emergency services, chest compressions (cardiopulmonary resuscitation), artificial ventilation, automated external defibrillation (AED), universal algorithm for advanced resuscitation measures and reversible causes of circulatory arrest (causes, recognition, elimination/treatment). The theoretical training was reinforced with the practice of simulation scenarios.
