9 лютого святкують Міжнародний день стоматолога. Свято приурочене до Дня пам’яті святої Аполлонії. Ця християнка постраждала за свою віру. До мучениці звертаються з молитвами тоді, коли болять зуби. Віряни вважають, що зцілення приходить миттєво.

Викладачі кафедри філософії та суспільних наук цього дня провели тренінг на тему: «Стоматологія в образотворчому мистецтві». Тренінг передбачав тісний діалог зі здобувачами освіти 1 курсу 6 та 13 груп стоматологічного факультету. Доцентка Наталія Зінченко наголосила, що стоматолог є скульптором щасливої посмішки. Тому головна мета майбутніх стоматологів - бачити прекрасне у звичайних речах, вміло приборкувати карієс і стати володарем пломб.

"Dentistry in Fine Arts": Dentists Celebrate Professional Holiday

On February 9, we celebrate International Dentist Day. The holiday is dedicated to the memory of Saint Apollonia, a Christian martyr who suffered for her faith. People turn to the martyr in prayer when they have toothaches, believing that healing comes instantly.

On this day, the faculty staff from the Department of Philosophy and Social Sciences conducted a training session on the topic: "Dentistry in Fine Arts." The training involved a close dialogue with the first-year students from the 6th and 13th groups of the Faculty of Dentistry. Associate Professor Nataliia Zinchenko emphasized that a dentist is a sculptor of a happy smile. Therefore, the main goal of future dentists is to see beauty in ordinary things, skillfully manage cavities, and become masters of fillings.
