Тренінг з домедичної допомоги від загону волонтерів «Єдність» ПДМУ відбувся для школярів Полтавської загальноосвітньої школи I-III ступенів № 2 Полтавської міської ради. Старшокласників вчили зупиняти кров та розрізняти види кровотеч. Волонтери ПДМУ розповіли про основні правила першої домедичної допомоги, про базові навички та терміни для їх опанування, а також про моральну готовність швидко діяти в складних клінічних випадках в умовах війни. А також показали учасникам тренінгу, як накладати джгути й турнікети. І найголовніше, запевнили усіх присутніх у необхідності цих знань, що можуть у будь-який час врятувати чиєсь життя. А для тих молодих людей, хто ще не визначився з планами на майбутнє, тренінг може стати вирішальним у виборі майбутньої професії.

Захід відбувся у межах проєкту «Захист України» між Департаментом освіти Полтавської міської ради та ПДМУ для учнів ЗЗСО і ліцеїстів 10-х та 11-х класів.

Training on first aid from the "Unity" volunteer group: what was taught and the outcomes of the training

The training on first aid from the volunteer group "Unity" of PSMU was held for the high school students of Poltava secondary school No. 2 of Poltava City Council. The high school students were taught to stop blood and distinguish between types of bleeding. PSMU volunteers talked about the basic rules of first aid, basic skills and terms for mastering them, as well as moral readiness to act quickly in difficult clinical cases in war conditions. They also showed the training participants how to apply bandages and tourniquets. And most importantly, they assured everyone present of the need for this knowledge, which can save someone's life at any time. And for those young people who have not yet decided on their future plans, the training can be decisive in choosing their future profession.

The event was held as part of the "Safeguard of Ukraine" project between the Education Department of Poltava City Council and PSMU for students of the secondary schools and lyceums in grades 10 and 11.
