До 130-річчя від часу відкриття трипільської культури, однієї зі старовинних культур IV-III тис. до н.е., бібліотекою ПДМУ спільно з кафедрою українознавства та гуманітарної підготовки проведено просвітницький захід зі здобувачами освіти першого курсу стоматологічного факультету. Бесіда відбулася за матеріалами науково-популярних та періодичних видань, що були представлені на бібліотечному виставковому стенді «За кованою брамою – Трипілля», що розмістився на кафедрі в межах тісної співпраці колективу кафедри та університетської книгозбірні. Під час заходу студенти дізналися про головні розпізнавальні риси надзвичайно багатої «культури мальованої кераміки», відзначили, що українська історія – це багатоманітна складова життєдіяльності української спільноти, а традиційна культура українців – основа формування національної ідентичності.

Trypillia civilization: a unique phenomenon in the history of humanity
To mark the 130th anniversary of the discovery of the Trypillia culture, the PSMU Library, in collaboration with the Department of Ukrainian Studies and Humanities, organized an educational event for the first-year students of the Faculty of Dentistry. The discussion was based on materials from scientific and popular publications, which were presented at the library exhibition stand "Beyond the Forged Gate - Trypillia", located within the Department as part of the close cooperation between the department's academic staff and the university library.
During the event, students learned about the main distinguishing features of the exceptionally rich "painted pottery culture", and noted that Ukrainian history is a multifaceted component of Ukrainian community life, and the traditional culture of Ukrainians is the foundation of forming national identity.
