Протягом тижня викладачі кафедри філософії та суспільних наук Артем Дергай, Тетяна Харченко та Світлана Перун разом зі здобувачами вищої освіти І курсу ПДМУ ознайомилися з матеріалами документальної експозиції «Тріумф людини. Мешканці України, які пройшли нацистські концтабори», підготовленою працівниками Українського інституту національної пам’яті з нагоди річниці вигнання нацистських окупантів з України.
3 листопада представники кафедри завітали на лекцію, презентовану завідувачкою науково-дослідного експозиційного відділу новітньої історії Полтавського краєзнавчого музею імені Василя Кричевського Наталією Кузьменко.
Студенти були не лише слухачами, а й безпосередніми учасниками заходу. Вони виступили з доповідями про класифікацію мережі таборів для військовополонених і цивільного населення, створених фашистськими загарбниками на окупованих територіях. Говорили й про жорстокі, нелюдські умови утримання полонених у таборах, де смертність від каторжної праці, голоду, хвороб, тортур і страт становила до 60 %. Згадували також і про табори, організовані нацистами на Полтавщині з перших днів її окупації, найвідоміші – у Кременчуці та Хоролі, названий у народі «Хорольська яма». Наприкінці учасники заходу наголосили, що жахливі події середини ХХ століття на теренах України, на жаль, повторюються і сьогодні.
Такі зустрічі є надзвичайно важливими задля збереження історичної пам'яті та сприяють формуванню патріотизму й національної свідомості молоді.
Students Attend Documentary Exhibition Presentation
Throughout the week, Artem Derhai, Tetiana Kharchenko and Svitlana Perun the faculty members of the Department of Philosophy and Social Sciences, and the first-year students of PSMU, familiarized themselves with the materials of the documentary exhibition "Triumph of Humanity. Residents of Ukraine who Survived Nazi Concentration Camps," prepared by the employees of the Ukrainian Institute of National Memory on the occasion of the anniversary of the expulsion of Nazi occupiers from Ukraine.
On November 3rd, the educators attended a lecture presented by the Head of the Research Exhibition Department of Modern History at the Vasily Krychevsky Poltava Local History Museum, Nataliia Kuzmenko.
The students were fully engaged in the event as the listeners and performers. They gave presentations on the classification of the network of camps for prisoners of war and the civilian population formed by fascist invaders on occupied territories. They also discussed the harsh, inhumane conditions of detaining prisoners in the camps, where the mortality rate from forced labor, hunger, diseases, torture and executions reached up to 60%. They also mentioned the camps organized by the Nazis in the Poltava region from the first days of its occupation, the most well-known being in Kremenchuk and Khorol, popularly known as the "Khorolska Yama (Khorol Pit)." At the end of the event, the participants emphasized that the horrific events of the mid-20th century in Ukraine, unfortunately, are repeating themselves today.
Such meetings are extremely important for preserving historical memory and contribute to the formation of patriotism and national consciousness among the youth.
