17 квітня, напередодні Дня пам’яток історії та культури, у Полтавській обласній універсальній науковій бібліотеці імені І.П.Котляревського відбулася презентація добірки книг полтавських краєзнавців Олександра Дзюби і Василя Магди «Шишаччина: вчора, сьогодні, завтра», «Голодомор на Шишаччині», «Яреськівська експедиція 1921», «Шишаччина», «Яреськи: вчора, сьогодні». Науково-педагогічні працівниці кафедри українознавства та гуманітарної підготовки Полтавського державного медичного університету (завідувачка кафедри Тетяна Лещенко, доц. Олена Шевченко і ст. викл. Вікторія Юфименко) разом зі здобувачами освіти 14 групи ОПП «Фізична терапія, ерготерапія» здійснили захопливу, цікаву краєзнавчу мандрівку історичними й сьогоднішніми стежками Шишаччини – перлини Полтавщини. Автори глибоко інформативно й емоційно змальовували красу й велич Шишацького краю, поділилися вражаючими спогадами про історію написання своїх неоціненних книг, зосередили увагу на цікавих, досі невідомих широкому загалу українознавчих і краєзнавчих фактах, які викликали непідробне захоплення присутніх. Лейтмотивом виступів стало донесення до аудиторії унікальності й значимості Шишацького краю – малої батьківщини авторів.
Добірка книг, як і самі автори, викликали в зацікавленої аудиторії жвавий, непідробний інтерес, і від самого початку захід перетворився в живу невимушену бесіду. Особливу увагу присутні акцентували на необхідності збереження незрівнянних краєвидів і унікальних туристичних можливостей Шишаччини і Полтавщини загалом та її виняткового культурного значення для України і світу.
Ukrainian studies discoveries in the depths of local history
On April 17, on the eve of the Day for Monuments and Sites, the Poltava Regional Universal Scientific Library named after I.P. Kotliarevsky hosted a presentation of a selection of books by Poltava local historians Oleksandr Dziuba and Vasyl Magda "Shyshachchyna: Yesterday, Today, Tomorrow," "Holodomor in Shyshachchyna," "Yaresky Expedition of 1921," "Shyshachchyna," "Yaresky: Yesterday, Today." The academic staff of the Department of Ukrainian Studies and Humanities of Poltava State Medical University (Head of the Department Tetiana Leshchenko, Associate Professor Olena Shevchenko and Senior Lecturer Viktoriia Yufymenko) together with the students of the 14th group of the EPP "Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy" made a fascinating, interesting local history journey along the historical and present-day paths of Shyshachchyna, the pearl of Poltava region. The authors described the beauty and grandeur of the Shyshaky region in a deeply informative and emotional way, shared their impressive memories of the history of writing their invaluable books, and focused on interesting Ukrainian and local history facts that are still unknown to the general public, which aroused genuine admiration of the audience. The leitmotif of the speeches was to convey to the audience the uniqueness and significance of the Shyshaky region, the authors' small homeland.
The selection of books, as well as the authors themselves, aroused a lively, genuine interest among the interested audience, and from the very beginning the event turned into a lively, relaxed conversation. The participants focused on the need to preserve the incomparable landscapes and unique tourist opportunities of the Shyshachyna region and Poltava region in general, as well as its exceptional cultural significance for Ukraine and the world.
