11 грудня на засіданні студентського наукового гуртка кафедри ортодонтії (куратор доктор мед. наук, доцент Дмитренко М.І.) обговорили результати участі у благодійному Міжнародному функціональному симпозіумі «Оклюзія, мʼязи, СНЩС, постура. Квартет гармонії та балансу» (7-8 грудня 2024 року, м. Львів). Він був організований громадською організацією «Асоціація ортодонтів України» і присвячений важливості ортодонтичного здоровʼя в концепції загального здоровʼя та цілісного організму людини. Також гуртківці ознайомилися з клінічним випадком пацієнтки із персистенцією зуба 53 і ретенцією зуба 13 та результатами наукового пошуку літературних даних щодо інноваційних підходів до лікування даної аномалії.

The importance of orthodontic health in the concept of general health and the whole human body

On December 11, at the meeting of the student scientific group of the Department of Orthodontics (curator: Associate Professor M.I. Dmytrenko, Doctor of Medical Sciences), the results of participation in the charitable International Functional Symposium "Occlusion, muscles, TMJ, posture. Harmony and Balance Quartet" (December 7-8, 2024, Lviv) were discussed. It was organized by the public organization "Association of Orthodontists of Ukraine" and was dedicated to the importance of orthodontic health in the concept of general health and the whole human body. Also, the members of the group got acquainted with the clinical case of a patient with persistence of tooth 53 and retention of tooth 13 and the results of a scientific search of literature data on innovative approaches to the treatment of this anomaly.
