Відкрив засідання голова Вченої ради, ректор ПДМУ Вячеслав Ждан. На початку роботи він висловив подяку колективу за плідну конструктивну наукову та навчально-педагогічну роботу у навчальному 2023 -2024 році та представив почесних гостей з органів місцевої влади і трудових колективів, з якими університет успішно співпрацює. Виконуюча обов`язки міського голови, секретарка Полтавської міської ради Катерина Ямщикова, у минулому випускниця Полтавського державного медичного університету, висловила глибоку вдячність науково-педагогічному колективу рідної Альма Матер за науку і дала високу оцінку його здобуткам сьогодні.
«Надзвичайно приємно бачити очі рідних викладачів, - сказала вона зокрема. – Я дуже люблю свій Полтавський державний медичний університет і знаю, що у нього, окрім вже досягнутого, є ще неймовірний потенціал чудових можливостей для того, щоб у недалекому майбутньому стати найпотужнішим осередком у медичній галузі. Звісно, що сьогодні ми всі переживаємо дуже важкі часи, а наше місто втомлене і виснажене, але медики завжди на передньому краї, вони всюди і всім потрібні. Попереду на нас чекає багато роботи!» Далі в. о. міського голови пообіцяла, що вона зі свого боку докладе всіх зусиль, аби реалізувати робочі плани заради блага міста і розвитку медичної галузі у ньому. «Розвивайтесь! Прагніть! Розбудовуйте» - так завершила Катерина Ямщикова свій виступ.
Далі вона за вагомий внесок у професію вручила Грамоти Полтавської міської ради викладачам ПДМУ.
Подяками та грамотами від МОЗ та МОН України, Полтавської обласної ради, ректора ПДМУ за багаторічну успішну працю і високу професійну майстерність нагороджена значна кількість викладачів та працівників університету.
Короткий екскурс в історію ПДМУ зробив д. м. н., професор Максим Потяженко. Його спогади були присвячені професору Віктору Дельві, який очолював навчальний заклад на початку його становлення у Полтаві після переїзду того із Харкова і чиє особисте століття нещодавно урочисто відзначив університет. Це ліричні миттєвості, забарвлені світлою пам`яттю про Колегу, Науковця, Лікаря.
На порядку денному головними ж питаннями були обговорення звітів голів екзаменаційних комісій щодо атестації випускників 2024 року ПДМУ. Про роботу Навчально-наукового центру ментального здоров`я доповіла його очільниця, професорка Ганна Васильєва. «Українська стійкість – феномен у світі», - зазначила вона у своїй доповіді. – між тим, 77% українців потерпають від стресу в умовах війни. І тому важко сьогодні переоцінити значення ментального здоров`я у суспільстві».
Вчена рада розглянула конкурсні справи, затвердила представлені першим проректором, професором ПДМУ Валентином Дворником навчальні видання науково-педагогічних працівників з наданням їм відповідного грифу, заслухала також звіти докторантів про виконану науково-практичну роботу у докторантурі .Голова студентського ПК Володимир Добровольський оприлюднив результати традиційного конкурсу в гуртожитках ПДМУ на кращу кімнату. За ними, перше місце посів гуртожиток № 2, друге - № 3 , третє - № 1.
Проректор з наукової роботи, професор Ігор Кайдашев звернувся до Вченої ради щодо затверджень до виконання теми дисертації на здобуття наукового ступеня доктором медичних наук, доцентом закладу вищої освіти кафедри нервових хвороб, к. мед. н. Катериною Гринь - «Розлади адаптації в учасників бойових дій з бойовою травмою (діагностика, лікування, реабілітація), а також затвердження складу відповідної разової вченої ради із захистів окремих дисертацій, їх голів, наукових керівників, рецензентів та опонентів.
Про результати обговорення з ухваленням рішення щодо організації освітнього процесу у ПДМУ на 2024-2025 навчальний рік згідно з пропозиціями МОН України доповів начальник навчального відділу, професор Іван Старченко. Було ухвалено розпочати новий навчальний рік 1 вересня 2024 року.
Серед іншого розглянули також поточні питання.
The final meeting of the Academic Council of PSMU for the 2023-2024 academic year: discussions and approvals
The meeting was opened by the Chairman of the Academic Council, Rector of PSMU, Viacheslav Zhdan. At the beginning of the session, he expressed gratitude to the staff for their fruitful and constructive scientific and educational-pedagogical work during the 2023-2024 academic year and introduced honored guests from local authorities and labor collectives with whom the university successfully collaborates. Acting Mayor, Secretary of the Poltava City Council Kateryna Yamshchykova, a former graduate of the Poltava State Medical University, expressed her deep gratitude to the scientific and pedagogical staff of her Alma Mater for their work and highly praised their achievements today.
"It is extremely pleasant to see the faces of familiar teachers," she said. "I love my Poltava State Medical University very much and know that it has an incredible potential for great opportunities to become the most powerful center in the medical field in the near future. Of course, we are all going through very difficult times now, and our city is tired and exhausted, but medical professionals are always at the forefront; they are needed everywhere and by everyone. We have a lot of work ahead of us!" She further promised that she would make every effort to implement work plans for the benefit of the city and the development of its medical sector. "Develop! Strive! Build!" concluded Kateryna Yamshchykova in her speech.
She then presented Certificates of Merit from the Poltava City Council to PSMU academics for their significant contributions to the profession. Many faculty members and employers of the university were awarded Letters of Thanks and Certificates of Merit from the Ministry of Health and the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, the Poltava Regional Council, and the Rector of PSMU for their many years of successful work and high professional skill.
Professor Maksym Potiazhanko, Doctor of Medical Sciences, gave a brief overview of the history of PSMU. His recollections were dedicated to Professor Viktor Delva, who headed the institution at the beginning of its establishment in Poltava after its move from Kharkiv and whose personal centenary was recently solemnly celebrated by the university. These were lyrical moments, colored by bright memories of a colleague, scientist, and doctor.
The main items on the agenda were discussions of reports by the Heads of Examination Commissions regarding the attestation of 2024 graduates of PSMU. The Head of the Center for Mental Health Education and Research, Professor Hanna Vasylieva, reported on its work. "Ukrainian resilience is a phenomenon in the world," she noted in her report. "Meanwhile, 77% of Ukrainians suffer from stress in wartime conditions. Therefore, it is difficult to overestimate the importance of mental health in society today."
The Academic Council reviewed competitive cases, approved the educational publications of scientific and pedagogical staff presented by the First Vice-Rector, Professor Valentyn Dvornyk, granting them the appropriate approval, and heard reports from doctoral students on their scientific and practical work in the doctorate studies. The Head of the Student Dormitory Committee, Volodymyr Dobrovolskyi, announced the results of the traditional competition for the best room in PSMU dormitories. According to the results, the first place was taken by Dormitory No. 2, the second by No. 3, and the third by No. 1.
Vice-Rector for Research, Professor Igor Kaidashev, addressed the Academic Council regarding the approval of the dissertation topic for the Doctor of Medical Sciences degree by Associate Professor of the Department of Nervous Diseases, PhD, Kateryna Hryn: "Adaptation Disorders in Combatants with Combat Trauma (Diagnosis, Treatment, Rehabilitation)," as well as the approval of the composition of the respective one-time academic council for the defense of individual dissertations, their heads, scientific supervisors, reviewers, and opponents.
The Head of the Academic Department, Professor Ivan Starchenko, reported on the results of the discussion and decision regarding the organization of the educational process at PSMU for the 2024-2025 academic year according to the proposals of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine. It was decided to start the new academic year on September 1, 2024.
Other current issues were also considered.
