Вони не сидять і дня, вони – це активна студентська спільнота ПДМУ, які не словом, а ділом вже протягом 10 років допомагають тим, хто того насправді потребує, і своїми ініціативами покращують спільне майбутнє для нашої країни. І роблять це як у стінах закладу, так і за його межами, адже майбутні лікарі потрібні усюди, співпрацюючи з іншими закладами та організаціями, вони розвиваються, навчаються і роблять благородні справи.
Один з 5-х напрямків, в яких працював «Almino» Cтудентського парламенту ПДМУ протягом останніх 5-х місяців 2024 року, а саме, з лютого по червень – це так званий «Time Ivent» - акції та ініціативи на злобу дня.
Голова волонтерського загону Ярослав Катриченко, студент 2-го курсу медичного факультету № 1 ПДМУ відзвітував, що останні кілька місяців для «Аlmino» були особливо насиченими та плідними, та це й не дивно, адже під час війни допомоги потребують все більше людей До волонтерської роботи їхнього загону долучилось 47 здобувачів вищої освіти ПДМУ.
У співпраці з Товариством Українського Червоного Хреста проведено 4 лекції-тренінги з домедичної допомоги у ТРЦ «Екватор». Там учасників знайомили з алгоритмом дій при зупинці серця, практично відтворювали невідкладну допомогу на фантомі, також волонтери роздавали інформаційні листівки для полтавців та гостей міста.
Проєкт «Сонячні діти» залишив у серцях волонтерів чимало добрих емоцій. «Завжди усміхнені «Сонечки» та їхня така справжня жага до життя розчулює і робить цей світ й кожного із нас кращими», - діляться учасники проєкту. Волонтери «Almino» спершу гарно підготувались до спілкування на психологічному тренінгу, що відбувся у Полтавському національному педагогічному університеті ім. В. Г. Короленка, а потім тільки дозволили собі спілкуватись, гратись і всіляко допомагати малечі із синдромом Дауна у непростій місії - бути собою і відчувати себе потрібними у цьому складному світі. Візити до дітей відбувалися майже щотижня протягом 4-х місяців.
Ще одна добра та корисна справа, до якої долучились волонтери ПДМУ, – це акція з донорства «Зроби добро», що тривала з 17 березня по 17 квітня 2024 року. За цей період 144 студенти здали кров в обсязі 64,8 літрів у Полтавській обласній станції переливання крові, і, можливо, саме такою участю врятували чиєсь життя і значно покращити в цілому якість медичної допомоги.
«Almino» долучилися до проєкту «Республіканського (Громадянського) штабу солідарності» всеукраїнської мережі взаємопомочі у Полтаві, а саме, роздавали безкоштовні ліки для лікування щитовидної залози усім тим, хто того потребує.
До Дня Матері (12 травня 2024 року) під час благодійного молитовного сніданку «Україна Єдина» під покровом Святого Пантелеймона», де нагороджували переможців-медиків регіонального відбору «Відзнаки-2024» та вшановували матерів загиблих й зниклих безвісти захисників та захисниць, волонтери ПДМУ спільно з благодійним фондом «Карітас Полтава» пригощали жінок та їхніх дітей чаєм і смаколиками, гралися з дітками під час заходу.
Спільно з благодійною організацією «Світло Надії» студенти долучились до акції зі збору вживаних речей для малозабезпечених людей та ВПО, що проживають у Полтаві, розвантажили та доставили у пункт сортування одяг і взуття зі спеціального контейнеру «Одежина», що розташований в адміністративному корпусі ПДМУ.
Збирали волонтери і речі для наших захисників, 6 квітня 2024 року закрили невеличкий збір здавалося б речей побутових, однак, таких необхідних щодня на фронті. Це сітка, ватні диски, шкарпетки, вологі серветки, пластирі, чай та сухе молоко.
Робота триває, і це ще не все, бо планів багато. Девіз» Almino» волонтерського загону Студентського парламенту ПДМУ незмінний – «Живи, твори!»
"Almino" Volunteer Group of the PSMU Student Parliament Reports: Current Projects - "Time Event" (second half of 2024)
They don't sit still for a day; they are the active student community of PSMU, who for 10 years have been helping those in need with their actions, not just words, and with their initiatives, they improve the common future for our country. They do this both within the institution and beyond, as prospective doctors are needed everywhere. By collaborating with other institutions and organizations, they develop, learn, and perform noble deeds.
One of the five areas in which the "Almino" Student Parliament of PSMU has worked over the past five months of 2024, from February to June, is the so-called "Time Event" - actions and initiatives addressing pressing issues.
Yaroslav Katrychenko, the head of the volunteer team and a second-year student of the Medical Faculty No. 1 at PSMU, reported that the last few months have been especially busy and productive for the "Almino." This is not surprising, as during wartime, more people need help. Forty-seven PSMU students joined their volunteer work.
In cooperation with the Ukrainian Red Cross Society, four first aid training lectures were held at the "Equator" shopping center. Participants were introduced to the algorithm of actions in case of cardiac arrest, practiced emergency aid on a mannequin, and volunteers distributed informational leaflets to residents and guests of the city.
The "Sunny Children" project left many good emotions in the hearts of the volunteers. "Always smiling 'Sunny Kids' and their genuine zest for life touch and make this world and each of us better," share the project participants. The "Almino" volunteers first prepared for communication at a psychological training held at the V. G. Korolenko Poltava National Pedagogical University, and then they allowed themselves to communicate, play, and help children with Down syndrome in the challenging mission of being themselves and feeling needed in this complex world. Visits to the children took place almost weekly for four months.
Another good and useful initiative that the PSMU volunteers participated in was the "Do Good" blood donation campaign, which lasted from March 17 to April 17, 2024. During this period, 144 students donated 64.8 liters of blood at the Poltava Regional Blood Transfusion Station, potentially saving lives and significantly improving the overall quality of medical care.
The "Almino" joined the project of the "Republican (Civic) Headquarters of Solidarity," a national mutual aid network in Poltava, distributing free thyroid medications to those in need.
For Mother's Day (May 12, 2024), during the charity prayer breakfast "United Ukraine" under the patronage of Saint Panteleimon, where winners of the regional selection "Distinctions-2024" were awarded and mothers of fallen and missing defenders were honored, PSMU volunteers, together with the "Caritas Poltava" charitable foundation, treated women and their children to tea and goodies and played with the children during the event.
In collaboration with the charitable organization "Light of Hope," students participated in a campaign to collect used items for low-income people and internally displaced persons living in Poltava. They unloaded and delivered clothes and shoes to the sorting point from the special "Odezhyna" container located in the administrative building of PSMU.
Volunteers also collected items for our defenders. On April 6, 2024, they completed a small collection of seemingly everyday items but ones that are crucial on the front line. This included a net, cotton pads, socks, wet wipes, plasters, tea, and powdered milk.
The work continues, and this is not all, as there are many plans. The motto of the "Almino" volunteer group of the PSMU Student Parliament remains unchanged – "Live, Create!"
