На кафедрі фізики викладачка Марина Бичко організувала виховну годину зі студентами 30-ої групи І-ого курсу медичного факультету № 2, присвячену ґендерно зумовленому насильству.

Метою виховного заходу було ще раз обговорити існування проблем насильства у суспільстві, підвищити рівень обізнаності людей щодо усіх форм насильства, продовжити процес створення недискримінаційного простору для життя, розвитку та професійного зростання кожної людини.

Разом з викладачкою студенти обговорили  суть поняття «ґендерно зумовленого насильства», його складових та проявів по відношенню до людини; розглянули дані МОЗ України щодо кількості жінок та дівчат, які зазнавали насильства з боку інтимного партнера, розглянули форми ґендерно зумовленого насильства, обговорили перші дії у разі скоєного насильства та ін.

Наприкінці зустрічі разом з викладачкою дійшли висновку про те, що ґендерно зумовлене насильство – це проблема у сферах громадського здоров’я, ґендерної рівності та прав людини та що будь-які прояви насильства над людиною незалежно від її статі вже є порушенням її прав.

The All-Ukrainian campaign "16 Days Against Violence" continues with new participants joining the discussions

At the Department of Physics, the lecturer Maryna Bychko organized an educational class with the first-year-students from Group 30 of Medical Faculty No. 2, dedicated to gender-based violence.

The purpose of the educational event was to once again discuss the existence of violence issues in society, raise awareness about all forms of violence, and continue the process of creating a non-discriminatory space for the life, development, and professional growth of every individual.

Together with the lecturer, students discussed the concept of "gender-based violence," its components, and manifestations towards individuals; they examined data from the Ministry of Health of Ukraine regarding the number of women and girls who have experienced violence from an intimate partner. They also explored forms of gender-based violence, discussed the initial actions in case of violence, and more.

At the end of the meeting, together with the lecturer, they concluded that gender-based violence is a problem in the fields of public health, gender equality, and human rights. Any manifestations of violence against individuals, regardless of their gender, are considered a violation of their rights.
