Уже традиційно, суботнім ранком 18 листопада відбулося засідання студентської наукової групи кафедри психіатрії, наркології та медичної психології на тему «Сучасність та майбутнє класифікації психічних розладів: МКХ-10 та МКХ-11».

Під час засідання гуртківці спільно з куратором СНГ, доцентом Дмитром Бойком ознайомилися з оновленою міжнародною класифікацією хвороб та розглянули основні відмінності МКХ-10 та МКХ-11. Було відмічено, що зміни від МКХ-10 до МКХ-11 включають введення нових діагнозів, уточнення діагностичних критеріїв діагнозів, що існують, а також помітні кроки в напрямі вимірності для деяких діагнозів.

До слова, розробка розділу «Психічні, поведінкові розлади та розлади нейророзвитку» у МКХ-11 була найбільшим і наймасовішим процесом в історії класифікації розладів психічного здоров'я. Трьома основними цілями цього процесу були глобальна прийнятність, наукова обґрунтованість та клінічна корисність. У травні 2019 року 72-а сесія Всесвітньої асамблеї охорони здоров'я проголосувала за прийняття МКХ-11, яка впроваджується країнами-членами ВООЗ з 1 січня 2022 року.

Meeting of the Scientific Student Group at the Department of Psychiatry, Narcology and Medical Psychology

Traditionally, on the Saturday morning of November 18, the meeting of the student scientific group of the Department of Psychiatry, Narcology and Medical Psychology took place. The topic of the meeting was "Contemporary and Future Classifications of Mental Disorders: ICD-10 and ICD-11."

During the meeting, the group members, along with the supervisor of the scientific student group, Associate Professor Dmytro Boyko, familiarized themselves with the updated International Classification of Diseases (ICD) and discussed the main differences between ICD-10 and ICD-11. It was noted that the changes from ICD-10 to ICD-11 include the introduction of new diagnoses, clarification of diagnostic criteria for existing diagnoses and significant steps towards dimensional measurement for some diagnoses.

It's worth mentioning that the development of the "Mental, Behavioral and Neurodevelopmental Disorders" section in ICD-11 was the most extensive and widespread process in the history of classifying mental health disorders. The three main goals of this process were global acceptance, scientific validity and clinical utility. In May 2019, the 72nd session of the World Health Assembly voted in favor of adopting ICD-11, which is being implemented by WHO member countries from January 1, 2022.
