8 листопада на кафедрі інфекційних хвороб з епідеміологією відбулось засідання студентської наукової групи під керівництвом доцента Вадима Боднара, присвячене актуальним питанням сепсису.

Попри постійне удосконалення підходів до лікування, розширення арсеналу антибактеріальних препаратів, сепсис нині залишається однією з найактуальніших проблем у медицині через високу захворюваність і смертність. На занятті були обговорені клінічні прояви, останні підходи до діагностики й лікування сепсису та септичного шоку з позиції доказової медицини. Лектор звернув увагу слухачів на важливості негайної діагностики, ефективної санації інфекційного вогнища, раннього призначення антибіотикотерапії, гемодинамічної підтримки та ад′ювантної терапії для збереження життя пацієнта.

Health issues of sepsis discussed at the meeting of the student scientific group

On November 8, the Department of Infectious Diseases and Epidemiology held a meeting of the student scientific group on the current issues of sepsis, led by Associate Professor Vadym Bodnar.

Despite the constant improvement of approaches to treatment, expansion of the arsenal of antibacterial drugs, sepsis remains one of the most urgent issues in medicine today due to high morbidity and mortality. The class discussed clinical manifestations, the latest approaches to the diagnosis and treatment of sepsis and septic shock from the perspective of evidence-based medicine. The lecturer drew the audience's attention to the importance of immediate diagnosis, effective sanitation of the infectious focus, early antibiotic therapy, hemodynamic support and adjuvant therapy to save the patient's life.
