У рамках проведення щорічної Всеукраїнської кампанії «16 днів проти насильства» та з метою привернення уваги до проблеми подолання насильства в сім’ї та захисту прав жінок і дітей на кафедрі громадського здоров’я з лікарсько-трудовою експертизою проведено зустріч здобувачів вищої освіти 6-ого курсу 1-ої та 2-ої груп медичного факультету № 1 з представниками сектору протидії домашньому насильству поліції Полтавського районного управління. Обговорювали питання, як саме діяти у ситуації домашнього насильства чи його загрози, куди звертатися та дізнавалися як визначити, чи піддаєтеся ви домашньому насильству.

Meeting between 6-year students of PSMU and representatives of the Domestic Violence Prevention Unit of the Poltava District Police: details below

As part of the annual All-Ukrainian “16 Days Against Violence” campaign and to raise awareness about combating domestic violence and protecting the rights of women and children, a meeting was held at the Department of Public Health and Occupational Medicine.

The event brought together 6-year students from Groups 1 and 2 of the Medical Faculty No. 1 at PSMU and representatives from the Domestic Violence Prevention Unit of the Poltava District Police.

During the meeting, students learned how to respond in situations involving domestic violence or its threat, where to seek help, and how to identify if they or someone else might be experiencing domestic violence.

This important discussion aimed to empower future medical professionals with the knowledge and resources to address these critical social issues effectively.
